6-0 Baby! What a game, we lucked out sooooo much.
I am now a believer in Leinart.

Good God, that was the ugliest win I think I've ever seen. I guess great teams really do win the games they shouldn't. Some finish, and a hell of a choke job by the ole Cards.

Is it fair to say the Cardinals are the worst team in the NFL? Both now and of all-time? I agree with Korneheiser...they need to pick up and move out of there, erase the entire franchise or something...they're pathetic and I'm very pissed. Sorry but these 6-0 Bears have done nothing to get as far as they have this year...where's the test please?
Leinart get out of Arizona before your career is a complete waste. Rackers, retire.

If the Cards had any sort of offensive line, this team could easily be 3-3 or 4-2. They should have beaten my Chiefs last week, and should have beaten da Bears tonight. Rackers is going to be fried on local networks tomorrow.
That being said...I still don't think Grossman is quite there yet. He forced a ton of throws, and coughed up the ball a couple of times on sacks. Can't expect him to play lights out every game, but his lack of big-game road experience showed tonight.

I am stund and lost for words. I thought that even Oakland could've won with that kinda lead and only a little time left. What hope do the Cards have now. I mean what does Dennis Green even say. They were pratically given the win and a couple of fumbles later......
Unbelievable!

Are you serious?
I actually turned the game off because it was getting ugly (and the Red Wings are on), but my goodness, what a stunner, and this only further proves the point that the Bears are one of the top three teams in the NFL. The defense was never a question (though a bit shaky tonight) and now that the offense is getting their act together, this is one really dangerous team.
On a different note, quite the choke-job by the Cards, but I am now even more pissed at Millen for taking Ernie Sims over Leinart back in April. There's a reason Tiger fans were chanting Fire Millen during game four of the ALCS.

Grossman threw 4 picks and fumbled twice, the rest of the offense didn't matter much either. They score 21 points on defense and special teams. Edgerrin James sucks...just saying.

You're right, I didn't watch much (I went to the Pistons preseason game, got home, saw that it was a blowout, watched maybe a half hour, then went to the Red Wings). I was kinda going by what had happened up until this week.
If this was only a hiccup, they'll be fine.

Offense is getting together? They turned the ball over six times tonight and only really scored three points. Defense got them 14 and Special teams got them the other 7. They still looked rather sluggish on offense. They just are good enough *somehow* to play an awful game and still win.

Loki, they found a way to win, great teams find a way to win when they are destine to lose. It was an amazing game, and I'm not saying that the Bears played fabulous, they didn't. But your continued smear campaign against them has become obvious.
Test? Minnesota, found a way to win when things looked bad. Seattle, do I really have to go into detail? Tonight, Offense sputtered, but the defense and special teams lifted the team, bad teams don't have that luxury.
I suppose the Colts aren't for real since they found a way to win against the Titans when it looked bleek.

I suppose the Colts aren't for real since they found a way to win against the Titans when it looked bleek. 1. Vikings lost to the Bills and nearly got destroyed by the Lions, yes the Lions. 2. The Seahawks are nothing without Shaun Alexander playing healthy and well and that has shown against tougher defenses like Chicago. 3. The Colts have beaten good teams in the Giants, Jacksonville, and Jets. 4. The Bears should be 4-2. Sorry but any other team doesn't blow the leads that Minnesota and Arizona had at the end of the game, both teams handed you the win when it should've been theirs for the taking. 5. Your offense showed just how much they aren't for real. It's alright..we'll see how your three game stretch at the Giants, Jets, and Pats works out.

Bottom line: 6-0
Doesn't matter who you beat or how you do it, all that matters is that YOU WIN.
Every team has a bad game, unfortunately for you, we win our bad games.

Every team has a bad game, unfortunately for you, we win our bad games. A little cocky, are we? You ran into a team that hadn't played on MNF in years and started a rookie (albeit a good one) at QB. I would consider the Bears lucky, and move on, because you've got a tough road stretch coming up in November and early December. You won't win back-to-back visits to the Meadowlands. The Pats aren't a pushover. The Rams are playing their best ball of the year, maybe in a while. I'm just venting because all I've been hearing from Bears fans around here that they are going to go 15-1, 14-2, and stomp everyone in the playoffs en route to a SB victory. You may do that, but you won't do it in that fashion. In fact, I would have to pick the Bears as the NFC champ at this point. The NFC isn't exactly strong right now. You're 6-0. Enjoy it. But there's a lot of football to be played. Go out, and beat the teams I mentioned, and there's no reason the Bears can't win it all this year.

Might wanna check the thread YOU created "Bears luck out" where i specifically said "It was lucky, but what a game none-the-less."
I agree with all your points, but you can't deny the fact that the Bears even though they sucked offensively tonight, found a way to win when defeat was on it's door step. I realize the tough strech ahead, I have yet to say the Bears are a lock for anything, still 10 games left, but it's encouraging to see a team win when they are so close to defeat.
All good teams do that. But the bottom line is that you do win, no one remembers the game you should have won.

I smell the Bears pulling an Indy of every season....they steamroll through the regular season, then someone throws them for a loop when it really counts. They do have an absurd defense, though, and that's what you want in the playoffs. SEE: Steelers, Pats, Panthers, etc.

I don't really see Denny Green getting fired. Nobody really said they'd make the playoffs this year - the consensus was they'd be better, which they are.
