Chicago, though, is an elite team. The Bears' offensive performance does not agree with that analysis, but the proof is in Monday night's result. Chicago found a way to win without scoring an offensive touchdown and while facing a 20-point, second-half deficit on the road. A true measure of a quality football team is when a balanced group overcomes problems in one area to create other ways to win. After Leinart successfully drove his team to two first-quarter touchdowns, the Bears defense hunkered down and limited Arizona to field goals even after being on a short field due to the Bears six turnovers. Then, during crunch time, the Monsters of the Midway turned up the intensity and became an offensive defensive unit, creating touchdowns on two fumbles late in the game.
While many will find huge fault with Grossman's performance -- and rightly so, as he was horrible by all measures -- I will go on record saying this victory and the method in which it was achieved will go further toward making the Bears a championship team. Chicago will have many areas to evaluate and improve on during the bye week, as opposed to becoming complacent, resting on its laurels and beginning to believe the pundits and fans who want to make reservations for Miami. Chicago just proved it can go on the road and find a way to win when playing poorly. This lesson is huge and will keep this team humble as well as increasing its internal confidence.

I can't say I didn't see this coming. (The sloppy play not the win). We had been hearing the past week how the Bears would smash on the Cards, Grossman would throw for a gajillion yards and the Bears Defense would dominate. Nobody gave the Cards a chance, and it gave them the motivation to jump out to the great start. Also having a Prime-Time game helped. That being said I am happy that the Bears pulled out the win. More then once during the night I was tempted to turn the game off because I was getting pissed off, but I stuck by my team hoping we could somehow come back. When Grossman threw that pick that was returned for a TD (but called back) I felt it changed the tempo of the game. Instead of being down 20, we were only down by 2 TDs, and Brian Urlacher forced the fumble to make it a one score game. In my opinion, the Arizona Cardinals had this game in the bags, being up 20-0 at one point and dominating the Bears offense. However their offensive line faltered, and Neil Rackers missed that FG that woulda won it. It was a great first half by the Cardinals and a lousy second half. We should be 5-1 right now, but we got the win and for that I'm happy. I hope this changes the mentality of all those fans who say we're gonna go 15-1 or 14-2, I'm thinking more of 13-3 or 12-4

I wouldn't fire Denny Green. He's a good coach, people (including the Cards) are just learning that offensive line is the most important part of a team.

We're not looking too good today against the Dolphins early. It's 14-3 early and now we just fumbled. The call is being challenged by Lovie Smith and I hope we get this, because if we don't then Miami has all the momentum.
edit: we didnt get it

Well a Grossman to Muhammad TD and a blocked FG makes it 14-10 at halftime. We got some of the momentum back and I hope we can survive through this week.

Sad thing is we have more total offense than the Dolphins. We really need to start running the ball again, it's still early, and we have had sucess doing it.

Hey. It's 1985 again. Marino was like 14-27 for 160 some odd yards and 2 TDs, Harrington is 16-32 for 137 yards and 3 TDs
