62 yards is how long Matt Bryant made a field goal from. With 4 seconds left he made it to beat the Eagles.
Go Bucs!

Yeah expect Jerome McDougle to get cut. Good job by the Bucs though I must say. Hell of a game.

Props to the kickers today. Bryant's 62 yarder, and the Chiefs' Lawrence Tynes kicked a 53-yarder to beat the Chargers. The 62-yarder is impressive, but Tynes missed a PAT before, so redemption was sweet!

Dont forget Ronde Barber suplied the two touchdowns, Philly decided to go for it and missed at halftime, and Westbrook made every Buccaneer miss for the then-thought-to-be GW TD. The defense played well enough to win, but with the game on the line.... How was every Buc player out of position? Jermaine Phillips not hustling I suppose.
Good Job for the Buccaneers though...

Yes Barber was a huge big help to us winning the game. But Philly would've had enough time to go for it at the end of the half if they went for the endzone instead of the 2 yard line, so that if they cought the ball it'd be a TD and if it was incomplete they'd still have enough time for a FG. And how is one player responsible, i.e. Jermaine Phillips, for four defenders missing tackles. It's just that Westbrook is that good. If you ask any player, that's not stupid, or any coach about Brian Westbrook they'll tell you that he's one of the hardest RBs to tackle in the open field. The Defense was great playing against the #1 ranked offense today. Besides a few broken plays, like the one you pointed out, we really did really good. Yeah, yeah 500 yards. But we keep them out of the endzone and created turnovers which is the important thing. And the offense did it's job by not turning the ball over like the Eagles. That's really all we look for each week. Smart plays that don't get the ball turned over.

I just want to point out the fact that the number one offense was playing without receiver Donte Stallworth. When you look at the guys we had starting, Brown and Baskett, it is not that great. Also, Donovan was hit hard by the heat.

Lets also not forget the old timy Morten Andersen putting it through the uprights to beat Pitt. Also, Freak... What the hell is wrong with your Eagles? They win against Dallas and then drop two straight.

I would say that its not exactly the Eagles have been playing bad, even with the injuries and such. Just some bad luck at the end of the three games they lost with last second scores.

That is exactly what happened to us in Tampa yesterday. A guy who did not hit a 30 yarder all year makes a 62 yard field goal. Disgusting. The Saints game was a lot of defensive problems but yesterday was just bad luck.

Statboy.... All I am saying is that if you wernt a Buccaneer fan, you wouldn't be so happy with the outcome of the game. There was alot of bad to take from the game, and would have been had Bryant missed the Field Goal. Fortuntely, he made it, and we look at that. That's the game.
I was here to point out there there were several points that made me go as a Football Fan.... "Are you kidding me". Especialy playing out of position like Jermaine Phillips and Barret Rudd did.
I do however think that's cool that Morten Anderson was sitting on his couch three weeks ago...

I liked how Jerome McDougle played for the Eagles. He played great. There is nothing better then being penalized 30 yards. He had a great game!

I am really surprised he has not been cut. I think the only reason why he is being kept on the roster is because of Jevon Kearse being injured. He has been a bust.

When is Kearse expected to be back? I saw when he was injured vs the Giants but I did not see all of it. What exactly happened to him?

Well, it was a bad injury. He is done at least until next season. The doctors said that if his knee turned another half inch or so, he would not play again. So he will have to work hard to be back but I think the situation with all of the ends helps him out a lot.
