I remember when you were on his case about a dumb penalty, but apparently he is better than I thought. I figured he was some benchwarmer or something. Shows how much I know. ;D

Isn't he among the league leaders in sacks? Well anyways, it sure is too bad the Eagles can't seem to generate any pressure on the defensive line any more like they were at the beginning of the year...

If they can get back to that, it will be great. I hope that they give rookie LaJuan Ramsey more playing time. That will help a ton if you ask me.

The Eagles do this a lot I've noticed, especially with defensive guys. I can specifically recall Darwin Walker, Lito Sheppard, Sheldon Brown, and Shawn Andrews doing the same thing. It's a pretty good idea....you give the young guy a big deal that locks him up for a while, but is probably a smaller deal than what he'd get when he tests the market in a few years. They'll sign, however, because it's guaranteed financial security.

The Eagles do this the most. When they find the young talent like they do('02 Draft, Lito Sheppard, Sheldon Brown, Michael Lewis, Brian Westbrook), they have to keep it locked up. Sometimes it comes back to get you...Dirk Johnson and Greg Lewis.

That was another good signing by the Eagles front office. This was needed if you ask me. Reggie Brown is turning into a great receiver. The next one that will get locked up will be L.J. Smith.
