2 108 yard returns on missed field goals for touchdowns in back to back seasons by the same team.
Amazing.
Edit: Oh and loki, anything more you have to say?

Yea the Bears still aren't crap. The Giants apparently aren't either. That's what I have to say. And Corey Webster and Sam Madison seriously need to go. Why the hell does Tim Lewis start our two worst corners over our best corner, R.W. McQuarters? Good thing you can takedown the starterless Giants though...see ya in the playoffs. *Edited for word choice

Injuries are part of the game bub....it's not just about the starters. Depth is just as important if not more important than anything else. Chicago has depth and they took it to the Giants tonight. If they aren't "sh!t" then why the 18 point defeat away from Soldier Field? What is it going to take?
That's all people do is talk all this garbage about how the Bears suck...etc. I got news for you, one loss does not a sorry team make. And this year is especially true. Over 39% of the underdogs this year are winning, which is much more than it ever has been in the past. So a loss to Miami doesn't mean we ain't sh!t. Miami beat Kansas City today, so obviously something has turned around there. Cleveland beat Atlanta at home today...Houston has swept Jacksonville this year.......so at 8-1, the Bears are the sh!t.
Thanks!

I'm not dissing your team, but damn, Bears fans have to be the most cocksure fans, especially this season.

Bears are the best team in the NFL. I'm convinced. They can beat anyone right now.
Except Miami, I guess, but I'd pick them over any team.
And I almost died laughing seeing Loki call R.W. McQuarters the Giants' best quarterback. That guy got dumped by the LIONS.

Yea the Bears still aren't shit. The Giants apparently aren't either. That's what I have to say. Gary, didn't you know? If the Bears beat the opposing team, that team sucks. Even if we played the almighty Colts, Loki would say that they suck because we beat them.

I was looking through the newspaper in school, and it said that Vasher's return came last year today. So, same week, off by one day.

And I wasn't making excuses about the injuries, I even said we suck but I guarantee we have Strahan, Umenyiora, Short, Emmons, Arrington, and a healthy Toomer and you guys have a rougher time with us. It's obvious Eli's still got a lot of growing to do and will likely never be anything like his brother...Peyton was already dominating at this point. And yes DB, R.W. McQuarters is our best corner. It's a surprise but he is, that's why Grossman hardly threw it to his receiver in the second half. Corey Webster shouldn't be starting.

To say RW is your best CB is really sad. Not dissing the team, it's just that RW is crap. The 49ers, Bears, and Lions dumped this guy. He's got wheels all day long, but when it comes to tackling and covering...he's dookie.
As a Bear, he was hated because instead of wrapping and taking a player down, he would try and go for the big hit. RW was and still is more concerned with being all "swole up" and looking "nice" than he is about the fundamentals of the game. I wish you guys had a better secondary....I really do, cause R-Dub is crap.

With all of the upsets this year and such a short margin between the best teams I wouldnt be as cocky being a Bears or Colts fan. You guys obviously have every reason to be confident right now, but I would be a little worried come playoff time. Neither team has impressed anyone in the playoffs between the two in the past decade, although this is pointing more towards the Colts than the Bears two playoff stints recently.
Is this Chicago's best team the past few years? I believe so, they are the most complete. Is this the best Indianapolis team the past few years? No. One of these AFC contenders (Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, New England) are going to take down the Colts.
What I think is going to keep the Bears out of a superbowl is Rex Grossman. I hate to say it because he's a Florida grad, but he hasnt proven much to me other than he looks great some weeks, and bad on others. He's been inconsistant all year, and what happens the game in the playoffs against a very good team when he throws 2, 3, 4 interceptions?
Most of the time during a playoff game with turnovers like that, your going to lose. Thats what I think is going to hurt Chicago come playoffs time. I mean the NFC is really packed together closely, so its hard to tell exactly what teams could end up in the playoffs besides Chicago.
The Giants should be in the playoffs, and they would be much healthier with revenge on their minds the second time around if those two met. Also, Seattle cannot be counted out with a 6-3 record without Alexander and Hasselbeck for most of the season. Chicago if they met with them would also have to beat them a second time.
Dont get me wrong Chicago has a great football team, I just have a hunch neither them or the Colts will be playing in Superbowl XLI this year.

All I am saying is this. You will all be bowing to the Eagles when they beat the Colts in two weeks. *I can dream dammit!*

Dont get me wrong Chicago has a great football team, I just have a hunch neither them or the Colts will be playing in Superbowl XLI this year. Believe me, I'm not cocky. The Bears will live and die with Grossman as the Packers have lived and died with Favre. He hasn't been as inconsistent as many people like to say. He's had two off weeks out of nine. In baseball, he'd be a hall of famer with that sort of production. He's a good quarterback, who if he can keep his cool he can and will dominate. Our pass defense is really one of the best in a long time. Our run defense has been exposed for all it's worth. Perhaps it was just Tiki exposing our weakness as he does to everyone else, or perhaps it was Ronnie Brown taking advantage of a really tired Bear defense last week...I don't know but our run defense has taken a step back. So anyway, if the Bears win at least 3 of the next four games against 4 tough opponents (@ NYJ, @ NE, Minn, StL) then I believe the talk of the league has to be Chicago. Even if they win two, that's still pretty good. I love the Bears to death, but like Leak said, we will ride on to victory behind Grossman and we will also go down in defeat because of him.

Bearsbacker, you also have to go back to the loss of Mike Brown, a similiar thing happened last year when he got injured, the run defense was terrible in the games he missed.

A win is a win, but looking at how we struggled in the first half against that Giant's D with all them players injured, boy it's gonna suck against them in the playoffs. We sure won't be able to put up 38 points. Grossman needs to get more consistent for us (against everybody) to even get to 28 next time.

They have a good team. Maybe this year they will actually do something in the playoffs. Until then, those fans need to stop beating their chests and talking shit, or else you'll get what happened last year.
