Green gone...ok.
But Mariucci!?!? Didn't they learn anything from the Lions?

Give Mariucci some credit...the only "good" talent he was being given were 3 straight wide receivers, 2 of them busts. Millen didn't support him with much else to work with. With the talent Arizona has, who knows? I just think Arizona's that team that can never be successful. It's a curse. They need to relocate and change their name.

They're never gonna change their name, since they are the oldest franchise in the NFL and they've had the same name since the beginning. Plus they're not going to relocate after building the new stadium. They just need a new owner who wants to win more than make gobs of money.

What happened in Detroit wasn't Mariucci's fault. You could bring in Vince Lombardi to coach the Lions but with Matt Millen in charge, nothing will get done.

If you've ever heard the saying "he fish rots from the head own" its true about the Lions. It starts with Millen and all the glorious draft picks, free agents, and coaches he has brought in.

Mariucci is going to be great in Arizona. I think if you take that West Coast offense that has come down from Bill Walsh and put it in Arizona, you will get results. If they get some offensive linemen, that offense will click. Remember Garrison Hearst in San Francisco? Just imagine that but with Edge. There defense also needs a little bit of help but I think they can address that this off-season. It is just upsetting to hear this because with Andy Reid possibly on the hot seat, Mariucci would have been nice. (Who knows what Lurie wants though)

Andy Reid shouldn't be on the hot-seat, at least not right now. Everyone on his offense seems injury prone. He can't control that.

That is what you would think but Lurie was very critical of Reid back in '03-ish.

It's not Dennis Green's fault the Cards have no o-line. Mooch will be no more successful than Green has been unless they shore that thing up.
