I remember seeing that on Sportscenter, just hoping things would work out for him.

I rather hear someone say he had a "promising career ahead of him" instead of "the rest of his life ahead of him". I think it would be smart to not play again. Unlees he's 100% healed and back to good form, dont risk it.

Hopefully. That's a really sad way to end a football career. Reminds me of Odell Thurman too, where did he go? I remember reading in SI about how those two were some of Cincy's most promising young guys on their defense.

Yeah, he got pulled over and arrested. His blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit, and the Bengals suspended him for the year.

Im sure DB knew this, but actually it was the NFL and not the Bengals that suspended Odell Thurman. He already had a 4-game, then screwed up again and basically was used as an examply by Goodell. Now, not too many months later he is actually offering help to the Bengals management for their troubled players this past year. That teams getting so bad their going to start having special programs to keep them out of trouble like they do for high schoolers.

Wow... I honestly didn't even hear about that. And I'm always up on my football stuff... it's sad to hear this tho. He is a great player... hopefully everything works out in the end...

Seems like he's on the right track. I still like the Bengals, even though they're becoming the NFL version of the Jail Blazers.

We just need to get our god damn personel department together. But, I know what will solve everything. Bring Michael Irvin out of retirement.
