This is off of ESPN.com they wondered weather he would be back or not.
Also answer the questions.
1.) Will he be back 2.) Where does he go down in terms of QB's 3.) Favorite Favre memory 4.) Favre's Legacy
1.) I think he should come back. With another year of expirence for the team they will be a playoff caliber team. If the NFC is even half as bad as it was this year they will make the playoffs. Also a few key injuries hurt the team, so with them back healthy and a solid draft they could easily be a playoff team.
2.) Favre is a top 10 QB in my books. Sure there are a few better than him, but none played through more pain than he did. He is probably #6 or #7 on my list.
3.) Has to be his famous monday night performance after his father died. If I remember right he had something like 5 TD passes? It showed what kind of warrior he really was. This guy put up with so much pain and still gave the fans a treat.
4.) The face of the Packers and iron man of the NFL. No one put up with as much as this man. I have said it a few times and ill say it again, this man went through so many injuries and even the loss of his father and to keep going is amazing. Favre gave the fans everything they could have asked for, and then some.

I don't think he should come back, but he's going to.
Favre is a top 5 QB. Total bias, probably, but whatever.
Super Bowl against NE. Robbed of MVP
Look at his stats.

I think he'll be back, because he still has fun as a player. Not many players have "fun" after the 6th or 7th season. This guy is helping his team get better, he's having fun doing it, and he'll return for the better.
Though I dont beleive he's as good as Marino, Montana or Namath, I dont see why he wouldn't be as good as anybody else. Warren Moon gives him a run for his money, but all the other QB's had great teams. Bret Favre was a great player making a mediocre team better all these years. He's Top 5.
I will always remember when he played Monday Night football the day after his father died and played better than any quarterback has ever played in any game. He's been through alot, but that took the cake, so seing him do so is amazing.
If he doesn't retire, people will make his legacy the guy who didn't retire(like people do Emmit Smith, who was infact an amazing runningback). I think his legacy should be what he has been known for all these years. An iron gun slinger. A balls to the wall, olet's go for it all, give me the ball, never miss a game Hall of Fame QB.
And for my extra piece..... If you want to win a game, Joe Montana. If you want a QB to lead you down the field, John Elway. If you want an amazing arm and rediculous stats, Dan Marino. If you could pick one quarterback to quarterback your team. Wether it be professional, sandlot, whatever..... Bret Favre would probably be the best and most fun.

I think he will stay on another year. I really don't see him leaving this year. He is stubborn and won't go until he gets another playoff run.

He'll be back but he'll find a way to drag it out until the last minute and be like "hey I'm coming back".

MY QB Ratings (All Time): 1. Ryan Leaf 2. Heath Schula 3. Randall Cunningham 4. Vinny Testeverde 5. Brett Favre. </sarcasm> It's Heath Schuler. Also: 1.) He comes back but I wouldn't agree with it. 2.) He'll go out as a top 5 all-time QB whenever he decides to go. 3.) I never was a Favre fan ever, but I guess his MNF performance after his dad died is right up there. 4.) Undoubtedly the Cal Ripken of the NFL and one of the greatest statistical performers of all-time.

1.) No doubt in my mind Favre will return for one more year. Probably a historic wildcard run after a 9-7 season.
2.) Favre is Top 5 all-time. I would say he is probably 5 of 5, but it depends what the rest of the Top 10 is thus far.
3.) My favorite Favre moment is the Monday Night game against the Oakland Raiders following the death of his father. Single-handedly one of the greatest performances I can remember of his career.
4.) "A gun slinging Quarterback that was an iron man and the poster boy of one of the greatest NFL franchises in history."

It's actually Heath Shuler. get it right, losers. He's not important enough to have his name spelled right. Now pronouncing it right? That's a whole other story.

I'm pretty sure that he will be back next season because I know he would hate it if he were to leave after a 5-11 season, or whatever it is. He's too good of a quaterback to go out like that. I say at least one more season, three tops.
I'd throw him up there with Marino, Johnny U, Montana, and Elway.
The only one I've really seen was the Monday nighter after his father passed away. I'm sure his Super Bowl games were pretty sweet as well.
