The buccaneers won with Brad Johnson and Trent Dilger when...
1. They had Tony Dungy 2. They had a rediculous defense
The Buccaneers have neither of the two, so I dont see having a mediocre quarterback helping there status.

I was refering to the Bucs winning the Super Bowl with Brad Johnson. Which they did with Jon Gruden as their coach. If you wanna say that Jon Gruden just came in at the right time, then it was really Kiffin's defense not Dungy's. Dungy was a great coach but didn't have anything to do with how great the defense was or how the offense managed to somehow sustain drives even though they were ranked so low. That was because of Kiffin and Gruden. So if you wanna say it was "because" of someone say it was because of Kiffin. And I was refering to Trent Dilfer winning with the Ravens. When they won a Super Bowl. I don't remember the Bucs winning with Trent Dilfer.

Shouldn't the Bucs really worry about the defense? I mean, I saw a few games this year, and they looked a lot slower. Maybe that's not a good sample, but just calling it like I see it.

Yes and No. Alot of the postions are all ready takin care of or don't need to be takin care of, in my opinion. But there are a couple of postions that they should start to plan for. But I don't think it's imediate and I think that, as of now, the O-line is more important. White is a rising star that would replace the aging Rice. Rudd is a rising star that would replace Quarles. Hovan, Spires, Nece, Phillips, and Allen are either young or in the time of thier carrer when they should be in their prime. Kelly, our underrated 2nd CB was injured almost all season so that's why he wasn't a factor. And I really think that Barber and Kelly could be our starting CBs for at least a couple more years. And the same goes with Brooks. Really they should look into someone to replace Brooks, Barber, and Kelly. In the future though. I think they're fine for now. Also they need to find a more permanet solution for under tackle cause I don't think that Wyms will be able to be a good starter there. But that's really it.
