He's teary eyed now, so I guess it's true? >_>

ESPN and all the other sports news outlets must be hammered and sleeping on the job then, cause it isn't even on ESPNEWS.

Well, I fail to understand why he threw in an "if" when it sure sounds like he's good and done.

He was taking pictures with the team and players and when asked about his team and the future broke down crying... I think this is all from Favre folks...

If this thread turns into another "Rex Grossman sucks" discussion, I will lose some more faith in humanity...

I'm sad to see a lengend like Favre retire, but he had to eventually and now Green Bay can move on. Probably to worse QBs, but at least they can move on. Easy first ballot hall of famer.

When someone calls it a "great way to go out" and takes pictures with the team and wishes the rest of the guys luck, you gotta believe his mind is made up...

Always nice to go out with a win... it's just too bad the Chicago offense seemed to score half of the Packers points for them...

I bet he'll be back. He'll find a way to drag it out for attention once more.

I know, but the guy has won a championship, he owns some all-time records, and Green Bay needs to move on and see if Aaron Rodgers is the next franchise player.
Although, I have this hunch that Favre will end up in a different NFL uniform. It's probably not going to happen, but crazier things have happened.

Although, I have this hunch that Favre will end up in a different NFL uniform. I really doubt that. I was watching the game and he did show some definite signs of retirement, but I think he will be back for at least one more year.
