Okay, 2 for 4 again. And I thought I knew something about the NFL...I'm not even picking with point spreads!
For the upcoming games this weekend...
AFC Championship Game New England at Indianapolis
This is it. This is the game where Peyton Manning finally sheds all the talk about him choking in the playoffs. Has he had a stellar playoff run so far? The team has, but as far as his stats go...nah. He knows that he needs to finally get past New England, and this is the best time to do it, especially with the loud RCA Dome on his side. Hopefully he gets it done this time.
Final: Colts 23, Patriots 20
NFC Championship Game New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears
Boy did the Bears look crappy this past weekend. They gave Seattle every chance to win that game, but Alexander just ran it right down their throats at will. However, everytime it was third and short, the Bears did stiffen up, which I was very impressed by. I think the one-two punch of McAlister and Bush will be lethal in this game, especially if the weather is calling for ice cold temperatures and snow. I don't think the Bears' injured defense can stop the Saints' potent attack, and I think the Saints can play the bend-but-don't-break routine against Chicago's O.
Final: Saints 20, Bears 13
Honestly, I picked both of my games based on whom I want to win, they both feel like such toss ups to me. Hopefully they're good ones!

3-1 puts me back at .500...
Patriots at Colts? Jesus haven't we had enough Manning choking yet? Well, Indy's offense hasn't been good at all, and while their defense has looked good, all they did was stop a team pretty much undeserving of getting in the playoffs and a rather weak Ravens O. Tom Brady is a different headcase, and I don't know if the Colts can stop the balanced attack.
Then Saints at Bears... As much as I've disliked Chicago, they would be the ones that would be able to stop the Saints running attack. Grossman does suck, but the Saints secondary is very weak, so he'll likely get away with mistakes he couldn't get away with against the Seahawks. Benson and Jones are as big a threat as McAllister and Bush for this game...
And the picks...
Patriots 20 <=== Colts 16 (late INT for Manning ruins chance of comeback)
Saints 21 ===> Bears 22 (and on top of it, Grossman throws a 50+ yard touchdown)
