Keep using it Bama, it has just been the first year I've ever heard it used Its been the first year the Saints had anything to cheer about, so that makes sense. Im just hoping Indy blows out New England. Dont really care about the other game, but New Orleans should win. Yeah it's kind of hard to say "Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints?" when they Saints are 2-10 you know. It's the Saints though, so I'm still very worried they will blow this. It's kind of what they do. I think Indy will win the other game. They've suffered so long under the Patriots in the playoffs, it's time for two franchises to get the monkey off their backs.

Lets hope the Saints aren't underestimating the Bears like many of you are. I think it will be a close, hard fought game, going either way, as the NFC playoffs have shown thusfar.

I don't think people are underestimating the Bears, it's just more people want the Saints to win.

Saints/Pats is my selection for the Super Bowl.
Belichek and Brady can claim residency in Peyton's dome. Seriously, he may as well walk around with a "property of:" sticker on his forehead. Until Peyton proves he can outplay Brady/Brady under performs to the point he nearly cripples h is team, I can't bet against the Pats.
And the Saints offense/momentum is just too strong for da bears right now. Pats win their 4th world title, sadly, ending a magical run for the Saints.

Hate to double post, but can we get an over under going on Peyton's INT total? Will he see visions of Ty Law in their secondary? I'm gonna set it at 2 and say over.

Oh and Carolina (Twice), Baltimore, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Washington have beat the Saints. =P
So I say they think they beat the Saints, though it doesn't matter because the Saints are in the NFC Championship while the others are not. =)

The second Carolina game featured the Saints third stringers against the Panthers first stringers. You know, similar to the Bears great performance against the Packers to end the year.
I have to say, as I have before, this game is not a sure win for the Saints and not by a very long shot. Winter in Chicago will be a tough match alone for the Aints, much less against a 13-3 team that really should be a 14-2 team. Great defense, solid running game, and cold weather is a tough mix for New Orleans. I think the Saints win it, probably in the last minute, but it ought to be a great game and I can hardly wait till Sunday.

Colts/Saints in the Super Bowl. It's in the Dome, the Colts D has been playing great, and it's just about time for Peyton Manning to have an amazing performance. What better way to do this bu by beating his nemesis Patriots to get to the Super Bowl. That Crescent City power is going to carry the Saints in over the Bears behind McAllister and Bush. I foresee Bush getting smacked again, then proving he totally belongs in the NFL by torching the Bears on a bunch of plays like he did vs. the Iggles.

Even if they did nothing wrong, I'd still be a little pissed, considering his season just ended when they probably could have kept it going, and he got the ball so little in crunch time. With adrenaline flowing, like it or not, you'd be pissed too. Yet you like Mike Vick, who flips off his own fans.. XD

So yes, the Patriots must be the most classless team in sports today because the great LT said so.

I'm sorry.... but I take LT's side...
You dont got stomping on a teams logo, you dont mock a players dance, and especialy if that team has given you the upmost respect. I think it was wrong to go after the head coach, yes. I agree with you there.
However.... nobody should defend what the Patriots did. It was childesh, disrespectfull and.... classless. I would have thrown down, because even the bigger man doesnt have the ability to watch another team spit in your face like they did.
The funny thing is.... San Diego killed the Patriots physicaly, and Rosevelt Colvin was a non-factor. How do you do something like that after the other team breaks your jaw. You won because of a field goal... just like all your superbowls.

You won because of a field goal... just like all your superbowls. Winning super bowls by a FG > Not winning at all.

I know I know... It was one of those things that you notice... you say.... and then you realize it doesnt matter, because everything else you said was pretty much dead on.
I guess what I meant is that they have no right to act like they owned a team when it comes down to a kicker. Had Viniateri missed those field goals, they wouldnt have won those games. I know it's a what if question, and he made the field goad, so it doesnt matter...But
You dont celebrate and dance over your opponent when you win a boxing match by decision, you dont gloat that you beat a team by default. Why would you stomp on a logo because you just beat the team, if 5 seconds ago you where praying to miss a field goal.

Becuase kicking a field goal in the final seconds to win is much more emotional, there is no certainty in field goals, nothing is gauranteed, so when you see it either go through or not, the emotion you let loose is more than you can really contain.
Football is an emotional sport, and athelete's are still human, and in the setting the Patriots were in (on the road against the number 1 seed in the playoffs) I understand why they celebrated, it's not a big deal in my honest opinion.
Besides what would you expect, a handshake and the Patriots walking off the field?
