Wade Phillips?

You had Ron Rivera, Mike Singletary and Norv Turner at your feet ready to do whatever you tell them if you hire them and you go ahead and hire Wade Phillips? This guy is about as washed up as you can be, who probably still complains about the Music City Mirricle.

I just dont see where this is going with Phillips. Turner could have put together a team. Singletary coul have given you a sick defense and great demeanor. Ron Rivera could have done the same thing.

Nope... Good Old Wade Phillips, who doesn't even get signed in Madden. I'm not a Cowboys fan, but I am an NFL fan and was excited to see who gets the job. Jerry Jones shoud have hired himself and he'd do as good as a job.

Wade's an average head coach at best, I don't know what direction the Cowboys are going in here, unless they're renting him for a year and then making a run at Cowher/Lovie.

Actually, after now seeing everyone in the media and on forums with the same "WTF" reaction, I get the strange feeling Jones will somehow look smart and Wade will work out, by total chance/luck.
