Week 1 :
The Alaska DC Legends played their first game in their home town at the DC Place against the Denver Broncos. They lost a close one 13-7. Grant Musk played only a couple of snaps going 2 for 5 for 9 yards. Minster rushed for 38 yards on 12 attempts, which isn’t bad against a defense like the Broncos one. Brad Potter scored the first touchdown in DC Legends history catching a 10 yard pass from Josh Harris in the third quarter. Julius Rice led the defense with 8 tackles. Jay Blitz got a sack and no interceptions were made by the Legends in this one. Grant Musk will miss 2 weeks with a hip bursitis. Josh Harris has been named the starter by the time Musk comes back.
In the NFL, the Ravens signed ex-Lions Shaun Rogers and boosted their already boosted defense. Terms of the deal were not revealed. Mike Alstott broke a tailbone and will miss at least 11 weeks for the Buccaneers.

Week 2 :
In week 2, the Legends were facing the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland. They lost their second game of the preseason 30-12 scoring all their points on field goals. Alaska only got 148 offensive yards and allowed 414, it was a disaster. They allowed 146 yards to Droughns and Suggs. Julius Rice once again led the team in tackles with 10. Pedro Cerrano registered the first interception in the DC Legends history. Jay Blitz got another sack in the loss. Rookie Jonathan Campo suffered a sprained ankle and will miss the last 2 games of the preseason. He’ll be back for the start of the regular season, at least, that’s what we’ve been told.

Week 3 :
The Oakland Raiders were the third team to get the best of the poor DC Legends who lost another one this time by a score of 20-3. Once again the Legends offense went nowhere with only 147 yards gained on offense. The defense allowed 24 first downs all game and almost 200 rushing yards. Torrance Argento got a busy day recording 11 tackles while rookies Pedro Cerrano and Zoltan Topocany got an interception each. Pedro Cerrano continues to impress with 2 interceptions in 3 games so far. Can the DC Legends finally get a win?

Week 4 :
The last preseason game for the DC Legends in the 2006 preseason was against the Bills. Could they finally get a win and get a little offense going? YES ! They won 26-10 ! They scored 26 points but only got 220 yards, 66 yards under the Bills total. A win is a win, that’s what we heard all night after the Legends first franchise victory. In his first game since his injury, Grant Musk did pretty good getting 76 passing yards on 10 completions out of 16 attempts. Nisinler Minster finally showed what he could do. He gained 52 yards on 18 carries and scored twice. Pedro Cerrano got another interception, 3rd straight game for him with an interception. Austin Carter got one as well, his first of the preseason. Cerrano had one hell of a game with 1 sack and 1 fumble forced. Good news for the Legends, they end the preseason on a good note and they do not have any serious injuries.
