He was the reason I didn't watch NFL Countdown.
That said, I probably STILL won't watch NFL Countdown.

It is going to be hard to imagine 'Countdown' without a reference to 'Da U' every highlight. That got so annoying. I am so glad he is gone because it was always him saying he was right. I was hoping someone just kicked his ass on the set. It would have been awesome.

ESPN finally realized how much of an idiot he was?

If that's the case, then Jim Rome is the next to go.

I kinda hate that guy on Around the Horn... IDK why, just hate him.
God Speed Michael Irvin. Take your premature HOF induction and retire in Miami.

The only thing worse than Jim Rome is the people that try and mimic him when they fill in for him. That fat black dude and the old guy are terrible at trying to sound like whatever Rome sounds like. I don't think anyone is wrong more than Rome. He always makes such bold statements and then when you think he'll eat his wrods, he twists around what he originally said and make it seem like he's right. And he sucks up so bad in interviews its not even funny.
While there's a lot of people that could take Irvin's place, I'm pulling for the hardcore underdog Kornheiser. Even though he's nothing special in the booth, he'll benefit from not having the retarded Joe Theisman (another guy who needs to get the axe) say stupid things to everyone nonstop...

I would enjoy seeing Jerry Rice there though it would be a stretch. I heard an interview with him and he sounded very smart and up to date on a lot of the issues in the NFL.

Don't think so. Tiki's got a job at NBC on their football telecasts and doing fluff segments on the Today Show.

Rome's a true shock artist. Says things to get people to watch his show.
Basically, more ratings, more cash in his pocket.

That video has always been one of my favorites. I love when Everett calls Rome out on the stats, Jim has absolutely no idea.

That was great. Rome looks so different with the facial hair now. I actually enjoyed Irvin, he was quite a character on the show.
