I figured since I am doing this in every other forum I am in... might as well add DC to the list. I will just give you my oppion on some results and update when need be.
Feel free to but in and share some updated Information...
So far if you havent seen it...
Brady Quinn posted 24 reps at 225 Pounds, 2 less that Joe Thomas
Justin Blalock posted 40 reps at 225 Pounds of of Texas
Greg Olsen is a 6'6 260 pound TE who ran a sub 4.4 40 and posted good numbers.
Johnson just ran and posted a 4.35 40 weighing 240 Pounds. As a Buccaneer hater, he better not end up in Tampa lol.

well a few things I am pretty sure they test at 225 for the bench (correct me if I am wrong) and it said on SI that olsen ran a 4.51 not sub 4.4
And Johnson is an absolute freak I can't wait to hear what his vert was

He didn't jump the Vert and Olsen ran a 4.4 twice and for some reason they marked him at a 4.51.
As for the 225, you might be right.
If you think Johnson is a freak.... Remember that Vernon Davis ran a 4.34, posted 33 reps and jumped 42 inches with a 10'8 broad. Since he didnt play much last year due to injury, I dont want nobody forgeting about the Freak that is Vernon Davis.

Lynch just ran a 4.52 which is very disapointing if you expected the 4.3
Brian Leonard, who I think is a hyrbrid HB/FB mix(similar to Mike Alstott) just ran a 4.49.
Why draft Lynch if Brian Leonard runs faster, runs people over, can block and catch better lol

Antoine Bethea, Marques Colston and Daniealle Manning arent saying that. And how many people have had good combines and done little to nothing in the NFL? Im sure its a long list. The combine does nothing to predict how you will play out on the field.

Oh yeah your right. Its just something nice to have to prepare us for the draft, thats all. Always nice to see the sleepers before they even get on the field.
Lately though, alot of the slept on players have used the combine to their advantage.

The combine does nothing to predict how you will play out on the field. No but it helps to try and predict along with your play through your college career. And Olsen's second 40-time was clocked at 4.45 so I don't know why they've got him at 4.51 if they do.

Brian Leonard really helped his stock and A.P running a sub 4.4, I think makes him a Top-3 pick.

i agree the combine is useless, but it just something which lets us see how freakishly athletic NFL prospects are

I completely agree that most of the combine is garbage with all the wonderlic tests and 40 times and what not. I mean look at Tony Manderich he was considered the greatest OL prospect ever and test-wise he was: Height:6'5" Weight: 315 40 Time: 4.65 Bench: 36 (unconfirmed) Vert: 30 (!) but he was awful once he was drafted although alot of that can be attributed to injuries. Also I seem to remember a certain RB who ran a 4.7 40 and then went on to do some pretty good things. I just can't seem to remember.......... oh yeah

I've heard that Dwayne Jarret ran a 4.7 40 so he is going to wait for his pro-day at USC now before running in front of scouts.

I see him going to Detroit if news on Kevin Jones gets ay worse, or if they trade the pick. Or Cleveland at 3 could use him.

Drafting Leonard over Lynch because he ran the 40 .03 seconds faster is riduculous.

yeah 40 times pretty much mean nothing. I would take Lyych over Leonard in a heartbeat just base on his ability to play football

Sidney Rice was supposed to be a fast running WR and running a 4.5 might drop him farther than he was already going to go...

I think a lot of scouts put a lot of stock in the 40 yard dash and the 3 cone drill. Mainly because it tells how quick a player is. We all know a lot of players are fast but the quick ones are always better (for example, Brian Westbrook).
