Of course Eagles fans are needing to change their pants over this but I think he might be able to get a cheap deal done with Baltimore. I think they didn't want to take the cap hit. If they can bring him back cheap I say they should but if he gets a large offer, let him go.

Yeah, we def need a change of pants. That up the middle runner is what we need and have been looking for. Buckhalter is decent but I mean, he is no Jamal Lewis. Even if the guy did peak way too early and isn't what he use to be, still he is a great back that can pound it in the middle. Hopefully Baltimore won't find a way to resign him lol

A shade of the back he once was. Last two years he has averaged 3.4 and 3.6 YPC and 6.0 and 6.4 yards per catch, both way below his averages. He is fat and slow.

he should retire.
I had high hopes for him this year, drafted him in my fantasy league and he did not do sh*t. Thanks Jamal, now go back home and stay there, anyway you suck.

I think J. Lew still has potential but only if he signs with another team. Personally I can see him going to Cleveland or Houston so he wont be on the market for long. I just hope the Ravens can trade down in the draft and nab a quality tailback.

I just hope the Ravens can trade down in the draft and nab a quality tailback. We should have went this route last year, although I think we'll be fine with our late pick. There are plenty of talented runningbacks in this years class and I trust that Newsome and Co. will pick the most talented on the board available. If we can work on that and draft some O-Line for the future we should be pretty good. Chances are we probably will lose Adalius so I hope we also draft a LB, I dont think it matters who. Anybody can fit into a system with Ray Lewis, and Bart Scott. But losing such an athletic player like Adalius is painful. Jamal is garbage. We need to realize that and move on, the guy is overweight, takes pitter-patter steps when he gets the carry before moving forwards, and cant even run over cornerbacks anymore without alot of motivation.

I doubt he'll end up with cleveland as one of two things will happen: either Joe Thomas slips to #3 (which is doubtful, but with Matt Millen at the helm in Detroit, who the hell knows) or the browns take Adrian Peterson #3 (very likely). Personally, i'd rather go with a young guy with a ton of talent, who's in shape and has speed as opposed to a big, fat, slow guy with off-field issues.

Lewis and Droughns will play quite well behind an improving Offensive line and a Defense they can finaly rely on. Some might disagree, but this has been the best move all year by any team.... Romeo Crennell and the Browns are turning the corner with the way they have played the cards delt these past 2 seasons..

Well, I know for a fact he wont gain anything near 100 yards rushing atleast two games a year. This does not surprise me one bit that Savage went after him and got em', and makes me happy knowing that Cleveland will have a back who averaged 3.6 yards a carry last year. Hell, he joined the only team left that he could do good against!
Looks like we'll be heavily pursuing McGahee, we better not sign Dillon who is an older form of Jamal Lewis. Im perfectly fine with either trading for McGahee or drafting a runningback.

Unless a team takes a reach.... Houston, Buffalo or Green Bay
Would not be suprised if Green Bay trades up to grab him.
Oh! and reports say Baltimores giving their 2nd for McGahee.
