Uh, I do kind of live like 10 miles from LSU and Tiger Stadium. Needless to say, I saw him play every game this year sans Tulane and ULL. He's just a big guy with an amazing arm. He's also a better runner than he gets credit for. No Vick by any stretch of the imagination but the point stands he can run if he has to.
I'm not knocking Quinn, because he's a great quarterback, but he's just not the physical specimen that JaMarcus is. I've seen the kid throw the ball 40+ yards with a guy tackling him. He's just got a sick arm.

I guess I see what you mean...
I dont beleive a Quarterback is a Quarterback because he can throw really hard and really far. If that's the truth, Trent Dilfer would be a pro bowler. He's not, because you need to have everything.
Brady Quinn has the tools and Russel has an arm. I guess you guys mean he;s got potential, because if they teach him everyting Quinn has already been tought... he'd be better than Quinn. That's true.
But that might not be the case. I can remember two players who had great potential if they would just learn to play the game. Tim Couch and Akili Smith.
oh well... whoever gets whoever and it'll be squash

That's why I said you take Quinn first because he was the tools already. He's a guy you could throw into the fray and have a pretty good starter from the get go. Then could progress into a great player.
Russell is either going to be a Trent Dilfer type or one of the best quarterbacks ever to play the game. It's like investing in Microsoft and Google or investing in JDSU. JDSU could blow it out of the water and make you 500% or it could go under. Microsoft won't do the same, but you're safe in the assumption it will make money and won't go under.

I think Russell will turn out to be decent at best.

Im Quinn fan he is the safest choice and can be probowler and maybe even a hall of fame qb because of his development and his experice running the pro style offense.... But Russell is what the experts say the 2nd comming of Culpepper.... who by the way threw 33 tds in his second year but his first year as a starter but also throw 16 pics.... Well Russell would be the QB for the future but theres a chance he migth bust but Quinn would is the best overall QB going into the Draft.... I also like Leak because of the touch he puts on the ball but his decision making is questioable from time to time

We won't know on these guys until two or three seasons down the road. We're just finding out what guys like Carson Palmer and Ben Roethlisberger are capable of accomplishing.

I mean people say Quinn is the sure thing, but is he? There certainly are question marks about the guy too, which is even leading to this debate. You're taking a chance on both guys. If you need a QB to get you wins now, grab Brady. If you're looking down the road, I think Jamarcus is too tantilizing to pass up.
