Well, I am pretty sure that Quinn and Russel will be either 1 and 2, but who do you think will be #3 off the board?

It won't come until the 3rd or 4th round at least, but Troy Smith would probably go before Stanton, just purely because the Browns are looking for some P.R. love.

Yeah, my guess was between those two. I wouldn't be surprised if the Dolphins take either Smith or Stanton in the 2nd round. I'm not sure if they are willing to wait for Culpepper much longer. That's just my hunch. Stanton had a very good combine, or so I read. Chris Leak may be a sleeper. Who knows. I don't think Zebransky will get drafted at all, just thought I would throw him on there.

Drew Stanton will be taken in the 2nd Round Trent Edwards will pass Smith for the 2nd or 3rd Round Troy Smith will fall to the 3rd Round Jared Zabransky will land in the 4th Round Tyler Palko will land in the 4th or 5th Round Chris Leak will land in the 5th Round like so many other Gator Quarterbacks
My reasoning...Stanton is by far the 3rd best Quarterback in the class, Edwards is being hyped so much, teams know Smith will never start, Zabransky will get the mid-major sympothy pick, Palko looks like a 2nd or 3rd stringer and Chris Leak is to small with a small arm and isn't fast enough to fall under the 5th.

I don't really see any quarterback going before the 3rd round outside of Russell and Quinn. It's obviously those two, and then a dramatic drop-off after that.

I really think Stanton could be a massive steal for someone. So could Edwards, especially Edwards. He was one of the highest-rated quarterbacks coming out of high school when he did, and it's unfortunate that he played behind a very bad line for the Cardinal. Both are in the 6'3"-6'4" range and are around 220-230, with NFL-type arms. In Edwards' case, it's hard to evaluate film from his college days because he was on his ass more than he was standing up. Stanton might be the best run-pass combo QB other than Troy.
All that said, I'll go with Edwards, but I wouldn't be surprised if Stanton goes before him.

#3 Stanton #4 & #5 Smith or Edwards #6 Leak .... who seriously migth be the sleeper because of his heigth but has the arm and accuracy to make up for it
Zabransky will most likely not get draft but will sign as undrafted Free Agent ... i could see him being the next Plummer not your typical QB but can still get it done ....

I think we can put the "He's too short" theory to bed. Drew Brees is what, 6' flat? He just threw for over 4,000 yards this past season.
I think if Leak puts on about 15-20 pounds, he'll be just fine.
