I saw Calvin Johnson without seeing the trade and I was ready to give you one hell of an angry rebuttal.
Meh, I guess. I can live with it.

Philly will most likely go with a linebacker or an outside shot of a safety in the first round. No running back or wide receiver, like Mel Kiper Jr. thinks.

I know there were rumors for a while that they wanted to trade up for Peterson. That fizzled after watching Lynch at his pro day (as reported by Todd McShay ), I think offense is the pick for the Packers there.

I can't see the Vikings taking Carriker that early and especially after taking Eramus James and Kenechi Udeze in the few drafts...
I see them going for Adrian Peterson jsut because they don't really have a run game...

We have the inside track on Kris Jenkins from the Panthers, so DT might not be a need - maybe. If we got him, it would shore up a big need, and answer some questions in the draft.
I like Meachem at 23, although I could see Herm and Carl going nuts and picking some offensive tackle or something. It's a need, but we've got some players there. Receiver or CB is a bigger need at this point.

Why would TB trade up to 2 to get CJ when he'll be there at 4?

Why would TB trade up to 2 to get CJ when he'll be there at 4? I think I heard some talk about Cleveland maybe taking him so I think that's what he was working off of. Of course I could be imagining things so who knows.

Highly doubt Cleveland takes him...
The Lions had him in for a visit yesterday and were impressed, which terrifies me, so I can actually understand that.

Vinny Chase - I would have to agree, its early on Carricker, but I see a need on the line. I like them taking LaRon Landry, and I think all signs point to him now. Just read a few articles on how Carricker's stock is falling from Todd McShay and the Sporting News, too.
bearcat - Carolina stumped me too. I think linebacker could be a need with their top tackler gone and there are some troubles on the line. Meachem makes sense to me at 23, and I remember watching Herm on the NFL Network talking about how impressive Robert was after his 40 time.
West Coast - Why did Cleveland trade with the Lions to get Kellen Winslow? So they guarantee they are the ones in control of their own destiny. Its an insurance move. Teams do it usually first round and on day two when they have a player targeted on their draft board.
DB, the Lions take Johnson, and the fans at the Draft Day Party at Ford Field torch the place to the ground....

West Coast - Why did Cleveland trade with the Lions to get Kellen Winslow? Cause the Lions were giving him a lot of thought and they wanted to be sure he was theirs. That's why part of me hopes it happens.

I think Miami at 9 depends on what they do with Trent Green. If they trade for him, they'll pass on Quinn. If not, they'll take him at 9 if he's not off the board by then.

I personally believe that Quinn will go at #3 to the Browns, but that's just me.
