May as well start this now, considering the Raiders are starting to look into potential contracts for the #1 pick and the final mocks are coming out.
Mocks, reaction, everything surrounding the draft can go here.

I think they will end up signing Calvin Johnson or Brady Quinn for less money then JaMarcus russell

Really, I'm terrified of this draft. The two players I see connected most with the Lions are Calvin Johnson (wide receiver, nuff said) and Gaines Adams (not a critical need, he's not tough, can't defend the run, and has character issues - just what we need).
If they take Gaines Adams at 2, I'll be pissed. If they trade with Tampa and take him at 4, I won't like it, but I'll feel a bit better about it. And if they take CJ, many, many things in my room will be broken.
Dream scenario: JaMarcus Russell.

I want Jon Beason and I don't know. I doubt we have 2 first round picks by the end of it.

Patriots will take a CB and proably Ryan Kalil .... Raiders i think they will go with a Rusell and Millen will take CJ to pair him up with Roy Williams.... Do you guys think Offensive Joe Staley will be taken late in the first round?....

I think the G-Men may take Staley. Also DB in Peter King's Mock Draft (although I disagree with alot of his picks) he had the Lions taking Johnson at 2.

You know DB, I wouldn't be that angry if I got a wide out. Not dream but not bad. I think Detroit should try and trade down with someone who wants CJ.
I would love to see Patrick Willis to drop to the Saints or get Ross. I'm not nearly as worked up as I was last year, but you know we're not getting the next super player (well you know the hype).

I want Patrick Willis, Paul Posluszny, or Jon Beason for the Eagles. I would be happy with a safety though. If I see they take a reciever like some mocks are saying, I will break my house.

If the Jags end up taking another running back, I will cry like a bitch. And then shower with a loofa.

Whoever drafts Calvin Johnson will have made one of the best decisions in their franchise history.

Word out of Denver as reported by Inside the League is that the Broncos will trade their first and second round picks to the Texans for their first round pick.
With that pick, the Broncos would take Patrick Willis.

Sorry, Willis is ours... Sorry, Lions are looking to move down and snag him before you... I heard we were trying to make a deal with Tampa. And CJ would be a wasted pick for us. Not that that would be anything new, of course. Whoever drafts Calvin Johnson will have made one of the best decisions in their franchise history. Not for the Lions. Just a waste. We all know what happens when Matt Millen goed for the BPA. It ends horribly. And picking CJ would make me cry, and would leave more gaping holes elsewhere.

Something tells me I'm going to be a very angry person tomorrow.
EDIT: Ugh. That's from Adam Schefter, too. He usually knows what he's talking about. Damn damn damn.

Look at it this way, DB.
You guys could take Johnson, then trade your second pick and possibly another pick, along with one or two of the plethora of the recievers you have, and trade for another 1st rounder, probably to the Titans or a team in the mid to late teens and nab Paul Pozluzny.

I can't believe it has been a year since DB's famous Ernie Sims rant.

Well, I want Willis, but the Eagles get him, Posluszny, or Beason, I will be happy. They need some serious help at linebacker. Jeremiah Trotter's knees need about 10 gallons of oil to be anywhere near where they used to be.
