Well congrats to Cleveland but now im depresed cause Dallas wont have a 1st round pick this year. At least we have a high 2nd rounder and next years number 1!!!!!!!!!!
We can still get Jarrett!

A 2nd and next year's 1st for Brady Quinn. That's a deal I really would have considered making.
Looking forward to Trent Edwards in round two. Oh well....

Dallas fielded calls from Baltimore and Cleveland, and KC was also interested.
He wouldn't have fallen much further.

But still your looking at ok Third Round pick this year and like a 98%chance of next years first overall pick ... you must either be matt millen or a real tard not to take that trade

DAMMIT! Dallas picks Anthony Spencer. Im not sold on the guy's talent and managed to see him play in Purdue's bowl game against Maryland. I think our D is stacked already so this pick will just produce depht. So much for drafting Jarrett or Meachem  |

Interesting move for Dallas. Although picking Jarrett would have been WAY too high....they gave up a heck of a lot to get back into the first round. This is a very astute pick by the Cowboys. Spencer is the last guy for awhile with this type of value. He is the perefect OLB in a 3-4 defense. He is a tweener guy that can rush the QB. Wade Phillips wants more attacking and more pressure out of his front 7 than the old Cowboys did. In Spencer, they get a perfect fit. He really came on as a senior and his stock has been rising. This was a case where Dallas looked at what was left and knew if they didn't make a move, they wouldn't get anyone of his caliber. Smart pick. He'll line up opposite DeMarcus Ware. That's not too shabby.

ok chill out man you guys have the 36th pick ... thats in ten spots and i dont think jarret will be off the board by then... As for spencer can you imagine Ware comming off one side and psencer of the other side

They traded Cleveland's 2nd pick to Philly but maintain their late 2nd rounder.
