So it's very likey the Bears wont have 2 defensive starters from last year for over half the season.

I am happy over this because this means the Eagles don't have to face him. If Andy Reid sticks with the heavy run, that game just got easier.
Anyway, I feel the suspension was adequate for Goodell to keep face. I think Tank Johnson is changed over this, but it had to be done to keep the rest of the league in line.

My friend was claiming it would get reduced down to 6 games. And this is coming from a kid who seems to predict everything and always comes true.

Its true- Godell said if Tank stayed on his good side and cooperated with the suspension the games will be reduced. Johnson has already stated it's a 6 game suspension- not an 8 game.
