Holt should probably be Top-5 and Wayne should definitely be Top-10. Moss anywhere in the Top-20 is a joke, let alone Top-10. And I wouldn't mind seeing Calvin on the bubble, but I don't see him being Top-20 in receptions, yards, or TDs so I don't know what the hell this guy is basing off of anything.

Torry Holt never gets any love. He is a great receiver.

The list isn't of all-time, it's of what HE thinks will happen in 07. The fact he thinks that many people will fare better than Holt scares me but whatever, it's his list and just like everyone else, he's overestimating the Brady/Moss combo. Can't wait to see how many upset Pats' fans there are going to be. In his QB list he has Schaub, Losman, Vick, and the overrated Jeff Garcia ahead of Eli and Trent Green and I'm sorry but those are terrible predictions. Vick is going to throw for 2,000 yards, Schaub will NOT do as well as the hype. All he's got is Andre Johnson and no run game. Losman is lacking some offense as well and while he's gonna be good, I don't think he's going to be better off than Eli and Trent Green, I just don't. Lee Evans can't make a QB great on his own. And Jeff Garcia is just Jeff Garcia. He flourished in a few games for Philly, good for him, it's not gonna happen this year. Is he even gonna start for Tampa? And Vince Young is #7 . Ahead of the likes of Rivers, McNabb, Favre, and Pennington...puh-lease.

Trent Green was awful last season... this year he has Chris Chambers 4 TDs (and under 700 yards) and Ronnie Browns 5 TDs, as opposed to Larry Johnson's 17 alone. Matt Schaub doesn't have many targets, but give Andre Johnson credit. 1200 yards and 5 TDs look like an easy repeat with a decent QB. Vick, while he doesn't rack up a lot of yards, at least has a decent TD/INT ratio. Can't really argue much for Losman. We didn't lose too much offensively (unless Marshawn Lynch finds a way to rush for less than 70 yards a game 8 straight weeks and go without a TD as well and Lee Evans found a way to make Drew Bledsoe look good in his last season with the Bills.
Would I take them all over Eli, no. But is Eli any better than the middle-class section of QBs with Roethlisberger, Pennington, Rivers, and Romo... if he is, maybe now would be a good time to show it.

I agree with you Eli isn't better than the middle-class with Roethlisberger, Pennington, Rivers, and Romo (though for some reason Cowboy fans think they need a new QB). As for Trent Green and the Dolphins. Chris Chambers didn't have a QB throwing to him, unless Cleo Lemon and Joey Harrington count as something, and at least now there is someone sort of established in Green. Ronnie Brown is getting better each year and I think that will show in 07 as well. Teddy Ginn is going to make the passing game an interesting one for sure and Booker will add his two sense in when needed also. On paper, the Dolphins should do alright offensively...on paper. Maybe I'll make my own lists and see what people think.

The thing with Garcia was that the Eagles offense was slowed down. Westbrook took a lot more of the load and deep passes were kept to a minimum. Jeff will have a hard time being relied on as if he is a 30 something quarterback.

I loved Trent when he was in Kansas City, but I don't think he'll ever be the same player he used to be. However, his HC at Miami, Cam Cameron, was his OC at Indiana, and he's familiar with his offense, so maybe he'll turn out okay. But Miami is in the same boat as the Chiefs are now - one pretty good receiver, a bunch of mediocre ones, a good-to-very good RB, although he's minus a star TE. When you add it all up, it still doesn't look like any better of a situation.
He's just a part of a huge smattering of QB's that are mediocre-to-good. There aren't many truly dominant QB's in this league, but on the other hand, there aren't very many starters in this league that are horrible. I could probably count each on one hand.

I always take these lists as a "who would you rather have on your team". Are you saying you would rather have Mark Clayton or Reggie Brown on your favorite team than CJ?
The top five is very accurate. Nothing to argue there.

I dont agree with much of his Top 25, but I can tell you that I also believe Mark Clayton is in for a breakout season.

True, plus the fact that the offense seems to have finally got some weapons and can spread the field. I enjoy the fact that we have a fresh offensive line full of young talent to go along with a veteran quarterback, go-to tight end, two talented young receivers, and the veteran connection of Derrick Mason that McNair knows very well. Unfortunately, the New England Patriots are stacked and will be almost impossible to knock off in the AFC though.

Torry Holt should be higher on that... Moss should be like #20 - 25 hes production has been down but when he does play good hes one of the best.

Why does everyone think that Houston's offense will be instantly better with Matt Schaub now? Until they get a resemblance of an offensive line, they won't make much noise. Maybe this is their year to do it. They've drafted a few good OL over the past few years, but like in college, O-linemen usually take a few seasons to grow and mature into an offensive scheme, unless you're a stud that picks up offensive schemes very well.

I dont know why but Andre Johnson is one best WR in game would be even better if someone half decent was throwing him the ball.

I am of the belief that if David Carr had even a mediocre line, he would have put up much better numbers. Also, there was no one else to throw to besides Johnson. Schaub's walking into a pretty good situation.

For Andre Johnson to reach his full potential, he will need a quarterback who can throw from his back.
Also, Bethel Johnson won't do much. The Eagles signed him and the guy couldn't pass a physical. The guy is past his prime.
