The It's Finally Football Time Thread

So, we have our first pre-season game tonight gents. My Saints will be going against Pittsburgh. I'm ready to roll, I've got the radio set to AM 870 (no NFL Network) to enjoy some football and to check out the rookies and what not.

So, this is where we'll talk about how our teams are doing in the pre-season and players that are starting to step up.

I wanted to watch this game BADLY but have no NFL network either (had it last season with an old cable package and loved the channel). I read that the game is streaming online somewhere so I'll try to veiw it there.

If you find it, would you mind throwing a link up here? I at least can listen to it, being able to pick up New Orleans radio stations and all, but it is so not the same as watching it.

I can give a little more information on the Ravens by tomorrow evening, I will be heading to training camp in Westminster like I planned to last week. I will let you guys know how everything goes down. Some not-so-known players I want autographs from:

Thats just a little list of some of the guys I could have a better shot at getting autographs from that I would really like to grab. I know McNair, Heap, and Reed sign too and those would be huge to get.

I know, but I was meaning more as in Ravens players people wont be literally attacking instead of known. You'd be surprised though, I over heard one guy talking about the Ravens at work and said that he heard we drafted the quarterback who won the heisman. As he paused for a moment saying he couldn't remember his name, he then remembered it and said Vince Young, yeah thats who we drafted. ;D

Hope it is good for you Leak. I went to Eagles camp last week and there was around 20,000 people. It was still extremely amazing though.

when do the preseason games start showing on regular cable TV? I know last year they showed several of them and I just saw a commerical for next monday's game.

its ironic cause in Montreal Quebec yesterday on TSN, they were broadcasting the game on regular cable.

Thank God I get NFL Network. I don't know what I would do without it lol. All I ever watch is that and ESPN. (or regular tv for actual games)

In 2 hours, im going to meet the Tampa Bay Bucs at a private event their doing for the military and their families down here in Tampa. They're going to hold a practice on my base and sign autographs and whatnot. Im really excited because I missed the event last year and have the chance to experience it before i go off to college in 8 days.

Im gonna get autographs from Cadillac, Clayton, Jeff Garcia, and hopegully Derrick Brooks.

Well i couldnt kick Ronde but i got autographs from Garcia, Cadillac, Clayton, Pittman, and a few other players. I wanted to get Gaines Adams but couldnt get to him in time. They practiced for an hour and it was great!

I also got Joey Galloway to sign a custom cover featuring him for Madden 08. He was like "where did you get this from man," I was like "I made it." People around me were like, "is that real" and "that's awesome man."

After this, dont expect any Bucs dynasties from me- Im still goin with the Chargers.

For you Tide fans on here, Brodie Croyle is NOT ready to be an NFL starter. If he starts, the Chiefs might be looking at three, four wins MAX this season. With Huard starting and LJ back in the fold soon, this team could, I mean, COULD be a playoff team.

On the other hand, the KC 1st team defense looks very, very good.
