Hmm...the Giants should look into this. Move Kiwanuka back to DE and we aren't looking so bad anymore.

I love Trotter a lot. He is one of my favorite players to grace an Eagles uniform but I knew this had a good chance of happening. His knees are in terrible shape. His play last year shows he cannot handle the downhill defense that the Eagles run. I hope he just retires instead of floating around trying to make it. I don't know if he has it anymore. If he can start in the right defense, I hope he does.
I am split though, I wish the Eagles would have kept him around for his leadership, but I hate to see a leader like that riding the bench for most of the year. Omar Gaither would have got the starting job sooner or later.

He looked pretty good watching Willy Parker walk his way in the end zone... I think he'll do a decent job this year, but there's still no way he can help that defense against the run.

He is going to be a lot better then Trotter. Trotter was a huge liability on any outside run and had terrible knees. Gaither will be better for sure. He might not put up the same numbers, but looking back to the games against the Saints, Gaither is the man.

Exactly what Freak said. He may not have the power to blow shit up in the middle... but as for speed getting to the outside and stuff he is much better.
Honestly, the only thing in the long run that he might not be better than Trotter at is that leadership quality

I will miss his leadership. He was one of the best guys we had with that. I think Gaither can become that.
