Post notable cuts here.
So far, the biggest ones from the Eagles have been incumbent punter Dirk Johnson and kick returner Jeremy Bloom. Johnson was understandable with the big leg of Rocca but Bloom has me puzzled. The team stated he didn't have good burst, but when he doesn't even have a chance to return it. Now we risk Buckhalter in the return game, possibly Westbrook in the punt return area. Although, Tony Hunt looks good at times.

The Texans cut Wali Lundy and Darius Walker. I understand Waker not fitting in with a loaded backfield, but Lundy I saw as a back-up, "change of pace" guy. Also Dexter McCleon and Tyrone Poole, putting more pressure on a young unit. Also Bethel Johnson, who I never understoff them signing in the first place. Then they made a great move trading Jason Babin for the Seahawk's Michael Boulware. They needed depth in the secondary with the loss of Glenn Earl, the move made sense.
As for the Lions, the list is unknown, but we activated Kevin Jones.?!? We went from him seeing another specialist to see if he may be put on the IR, to him being activated...

As for the Lions.....I remember when I actually used to care. Comfortably numb, man.

Bloom doesn't have good burst?

Bethel Johnson was probably brought in as an insurance policy if Jerome Mathis was not ready to go. I am just hoping the Eagles find another option at returner, maybe if Bethel can pass a physical they will give him a look.
I am still mad the Eagles cut Rashard Barksdale and C.J. Gaddis. Both could have played corner, Gaddis saw time at safety, but instead they keep Joselio, undersized, Hanson. Hanson should be last on the depth chart simply because of his size. Last year against the Giants when he had to go against Plaxico he was done. Although, they did make a good move keeping Nick Graham. I know he is about the same size as Joselio, he just seems more like a Lito Sheppard type than Hanson does. Hopefully the practice squad will keep some of these guys around.
EDIT: That is the main reason given on Bloom. The blocking just isn't there. I hoped Rory Segrest would have been able to get the guys in better position than John Harbaugh, but I don't know if that is going to happen. I think Bloom got compared to Westbrook too much in the return game. Nobody is going to come in this early and do what Westbrook does when he touches the ball. For Andy Reid and the coaching staff to think that is outrageous.

Eagles snagged Pago Togafau from the Cardinals. I am excited to see what he can bring to the team.
Also, Jeremiah Trotter signed with the Bucs.

Wow, did the Jags really release Byron Leftwich? If they did im going to pick up D.Garrard to be my backup QB.
Also, Saints cut a few rookies. Antonio Pittman is gone, but one they released who i didn't understand was Tyler Palko. He had some bad throws but overall was pretty good. Oh well thats why we have Brees.
