Loki's 2007 Predictions

Eagles - 10-6
As much as people are jumping on these guys' nuts I don't see anything that makes them good enough to do much better than 10-6. McNabb is very injury prone and I'm sorry to all the Eagle fans here but I see it happening again. Westbrook will carry the offense again and the Eagles will limp into the playoffs.

Giants* - 9-7, potentially 10-6 as well with a worse division record than Philly.
Everyone seems to be putting my Giants down but I don't see where and people don't really back up their predictions. Eli has improved every year and looked great in the pre-season. He's got Toomer back, a slightly edited O-Line, Burress, Shockey, and his new favorite target in the Burress-like Anthony Mix. Brandon Jacobs is a beast and you all know it. The defensive line was stout in the pre-season and bringing Strahan back is only going to make it stronger. Linebacker corps is strong as well. Secondary is very suspect.

Cowboys - 8-8
I don't see why everyone thinks this team is so good. That's all I have to say about them.

Redskins - 6-10
Hopeless.

West
Cardinals - 11-5

Seahawks - 9-7

49ers - 8-8

They put Quinn in, they'll win a couple more but will still suck.

Haha, I'm sorry. I really don't think they lost that much. Joey Harrington is going to give them somewhat of passing game, more than Vick ever gave them. Dunn and Norwood are handling the running game, it's gonna work out.

Hahahahaha. Yes, I do. I have faith in him down there. Trust me, I know how unbelievably terrible he was in Detroit but in Detroit, everything kinda rested on him for most of his time there. In Atlanta, he's got two good backs and good O-Line that may take all that pressure off him. They're predictions and I think you gotta make some longshots somewhere. Drew Brees was terrible for his first what...three, four seasons? Chargers drafted Rivers and it lit a fire under his ass and now he's one of the best in the league. I'm not saying that's gonna happen with Harrington (ha!) but I think he can turn this opportunity into something golden.

I actually had the Texans at 7 wins but changed my mind. I can't decide between the Jags or Texans who will be better so I just put it as so.

Um............not to be a stickler but some adjustments are necessary here.

In every season, barring ties, there must be 256 wins and 256 losses.....you have it at 242 wins and 270 losses................

Haha I was honestly waiting for someone to say something. I could've sat through each team's lineup and done this like the real pros do but...I have a life.

Like them. I would change only a few things.

I don't think the Pack will break .500 this season, unless Favre cuts down on the TO's. He plays like he did last year, no playoffs for GB. I also thought it was crazy you had them going to the second round.

I also think Denver wins ten games max. I think they'll lose to Chicago on the road out of the division, and both San Diego and KC within the West. I also think Houston could sneak up and beat them, given Kubiak's ties to the Broncos and his knowledge of their tendencies.

I'm not sold on Jay Cutler yet, either. He played all of six games last year, and ESPN is all over his sack already.

By the way, you have the Chiefs pegged right. Six wins, with a chance at 7 if they can beat SD once.

NY Giants* - Can make a run at the division title, depending on Eli and health.
Washington - Will make strides but will experience growing pains with Jason Campbell
Dallas - I don't think they are going to be terrible, but a new coach and Romo in his first full season will be interesting

Haha seems like homerism right? I really don't see anything that stands out about them. They have a run game but lack anything besides TO to create a good passing attack in my eyes. Their defense is suspect as well. They won't be as good, and I use that term loosely, as they were last season. If anything it will be because of Wade Phillips.

I think one of the biggest problems will be Wade Phillips keeping a tight leash on TO. Wade can be buddy-buddy with TO, but so was Andy Reid.
