If you all saw highlights of the Bills/ Broncos game, the guy broke his spine on a tackle and was rushed into surgery. My roommate feared that he'd be paralyized but we were only forced to wonder because the doctors were dim about the situation....until now www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=5221It's too early to tell if he'll be OK but i am praying he wont be paralyized. This is such a sad thing to see happen.

Not really too early to tell.....the chances are slim to none that he'll ever walk again.

Scary stuff... hell, there's still a chance (albeit a lesser one now that time's gone by with less to fear) he could die from it. I wouldn't even give it a 1% chance he ever plays again...

His playing days are done. Even if there was a way he could make it back physically, the mental aspect might have just been too much. Sad story to hear though. As long as the man has his life, that is what's most important.

I think John Clayton put it best. It's good news but will be better to hear that news later in the week.

I think John Clayton put it best. It's good news but will be better to hear that news later in the week. The earlier he can move, the better. If he can move now, it's not like it is going to magically go away. If he's got some movement now, I think he'll walk again. I'm amazed he can move after what was apparently a cervical spine injury. It appears they put him into hypothermia minutes afterwards, which does a great deal in reducing the severity of that kind of injury just by knocking down the amount of swelling and movement. Great to see.
