He should have never left Louisville. After last years Orange Bowl the fans were chanting from Brohm to stay his senior year. Petrino said something like "He's got to make this decision but I would love for him to stay so we can win a national championship next year." They were a pretty good team and I didn't see him leaving in the first place.
Just another failed NFL coach that was decent or good in college.

LOL DeAngelo Hall just did an interview on Sportscenter and he was RAGED! He was pissed with Petrino leaving- calling him a liar and other stuff. He even said if he saw Petrino in the streets, he would have nothing to say to him.
And that had to be the most stupidest press conference i have seen in a while (well, not as stupid as the ones Bill Belicheat does every week)

...(well, not as stupid as the ones Bill Belicheat does every week) I'm being serious when I say this, and I hate to stray off topic. I dislike the Pats as much as any freedom-loving American. But you're getting annoying. Anyway, Hall's logic is irrational. Petrino had plenty of offers from pretty good schools before he chose the Falcons. Only after he found that he was in way over his head did he decide instead to get the hell outta there.

Beli-cheat does roll off the tongue nicely though. Anyhoo, didn't Petrino sign a five-year contract with the Falcons? Man, loyalty just seems to be dying in college and professional sports these days. Seems like he was just brought in to handle Vick. Now that he's gone until 2009 at the very least, he decided to get the hell out of dodge.

Money blinds them from seeing that they have to try to coach big overpaid kids who really don't want to listen to them. And honestly, I can't blame Petrino in this case. Unlike Saban, who just ran out because he sucked as an NFL coach, Petrino walked in and his situation immediately went down the shitter thanks to his "star" QB. I don't care, but I'm sure plenty of Atlanta folks are pissed.
