Mike Vick Tributes?

Did anyone else notice the mike vick tributes being worn by the Falcons on Monday? Seriously coming froma football player if a guy on my team did something as stupid as Vick did I would not support him at all. Honestly, the guy turned his back on the team and the fans and what do they do? They turn around and tribute him. It make me sick. If I were in the situation I would want to punch Vick in the balls not write his name on my stomach. Unless it said Mike Vick is a supreme douche bag, although that is kinda long to put on your stomach

Mike has been with that orgnization for a long ass time. He is good friends with most of the team (i assume since there were in fact a lot of tributes.) They understand that he is going through a hard time right now.......most of the players stated that when Vick got indicted months ago. Back then, they said they want to support Vick and I guess they still are.

Vick brought it all upon himself. I have no sympathy for him. If his teammates want to pay tribute to a convicted felon, that's their issue.

I dont mind them doing tributes but they should realize that wat he did was wrong and even Vick himself does not think that the punishment is unfair.

Roddy white looked like a dumbass with his free Mike vick shirt when he scored a TD.

Vick didnt "turn his back on the team and fans." He fought dogs. Big Deal. I don't think anyone should have to spend that much jail time for hurting animals. They're just animals and should be viewed as property in my opinion. You should be able to do what you want with your dogs.

You can't be serious. You cannot equate something that is conscious and can feel pain with an object. It just does not work that way. The dogs he drowned, electricuted, and starved felt the pain and felt fear (not in the human sense perhaps, but instinct told them they had to survive, it's basically fear). If you cannot understand this, than you are a sick fuck.

Oh and it wasn't for just dogfighting. The whole tax evasion, interstate commerce, and the cirucmstances of lying twice and failing a drug test didn't exactly help his cause. The max sentence is 5 years and he got much less than that.

This whole world is a sick and scary place.

I don't condone what Vick has done, but I can understand his teammates staying by his side. I am not saying it is right, but it is understandable in a way.

Sadly I just hate when people will support guys like Michael Vick when there are so many other pressing issues on this Earth.
