They are also adopted and rescued, as are human beings. I'm sorry, but there's no defense for that horrible comment. Nothing that is a living, breathing being should be tortured. It shouldn't matter if you paid for it or not. Shut the fuck up, get a life. Horrible shit happens all around you. 20 girls at your school are going to be raped this year, why doesn't somebody do something about that? Dogs? Thats what you care about? Because they are bought and sold, therefore they are property. Baseball players are bought and sold by owners, does that make them the property of the owners? I don't support animal cruelty but you need to learn to make points that actually make sense. It's not like Andruw Jones was forced away to play baseball for whoever the hell signed him last month. The only difference between Andruw Jones and any other person getting a job is obviously the cash involved. We choose to get a paying job because it's exactly what it is. We do work and we get financial benefits from it. Why the hell would we volunteer to become "property"... all I'm saying is theres a 1000 ways to prove that dogfighting is wrong, and your property defense was just idiotic. Maybe it's because I never owned or really been amazed by dogs or maybe it's because I've never seen dogs fight, but while very sick in nature, I don't really see how this makes Vick a terrible person. Everyone preaches that this is a terrible injustice for the cruelty to animals, yet nobody cares that half the foods they eat are coming to them directly from animal cruelty. I always find it ironic that people think dogfighting is a sick sick thing yet they're oblivious that when they eat some of their feed and wear some of their clothes, they're being complete hypocrites. In my mind, if you want to completely bash Vick, step up and do more than just call him a douchebag. That's why I don't neccesarily think of sportsbuck as an asshole like you do... |
