I'm not really up on coaches in the NFL, but is this a joke? I think he means Tony Sparano.

The Miami Herald reported that Rex Ryan is really close to becoming the DC in Cincinnati. The paper also said he is a candidate for the Dolphins head coaching job but it's highly unlikely

I'm not really up on coaches in the NFL, but is this a joke? Believe it or not, the Miami Herald actually printed that. It's actually Tony Sparano, which I just found out today, but I like Tony Soprano far better so I'm keeping it.

Word out of Chiefs country is that Herm's waiting for either Mike Shula to be done for the season, or that they will hire Cam Cameron.
Anyone but Paul Hackett, please!

Where have I heard that name before? He'd be a solid hire actually. His offense was actually effective at Bama, and I think he learned a bit from his other NFL OC stints. Would be happy for him to get that kind of job.

sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3199065Sparano is in as Miami's head coach. Honestly, I don't think it matters. Little to no offensive talent, shit line and an aging, overrated defense. It wasn't Cam's fault they went 1-15.

However, Chan Gailey turned down an interview with the Rams for a second interview with the Chiefs, so take it for what it's worth.

I understand, but I'm just kinda saying that coaches are over-valued in the pro ranks. The best teams win, the only coach that seems to truly stand out is Belichick.

BTW, the Chiefs have just hired Chan Gailey. I know David doesn't think too highly, I think he's a much better coordinator than HC. www.kansascity.com/sports/story/447546.html

Dammit, Parcells is turning the Dolphins into the Miami "Dallas" Cowboys or Dallas Cowboys Version 2. Im pretty certain Jason garrett will jump ship as well and I have heard that if he does, Dallas will give Cam Cameron a look to be the offensive coordinator.

Jason Garrett isnt going nowhere. I want to see who the Ravens go after now. I still think Rex Ryan would work just fine.

whew, Im glad Garrett is staying. But with all the money he's going to make, I hope he becomes our head coach in the near future.
and I heard the Ravens hired John Harbaugh. I think he was the Eagles secondary coach.

Why Harbaugh over Rex Ryan? I hope this proves to be a good decision, but I have to say I wasn't too excited over hearing this. Maybe Freak could give me a little insite on the guy, because I know he spent some time in Philadelphia.

Word on the street is that if Holmgren retires then Jim Mora Jr. is going to be the HC. Here's to the end of the 'hawks NFC West dominance.

Maybe Freak could give me a little insite on the guy, because I know he spent some time in Philadelphia. I got nothing. He did good with the special teams but our secondary was pretty crappy last year, since he became the secondary coach. Best of luck to you sir.
