Yes, Jim's his younger brother.
And a fun fact, apparently his brother-in-law is Tom Crean. Thank you Wikipedia.

I don't see how he's going to do anything to improve our offense. Word is that Bischotti wanted a young presence at head coach, much like a Mike Tomlin/Lane Kiffin kind of guy. That was the reasoning for targeting Garrett because he was a hot, offensive commodity. But this doesn't make much sense to me. You bring in a guy who's never been a coordinator, and at that never even worked with offense.
Meanwhile, if you were going to bring in a defensive guy, your previous defensive coordinator is one of the more popular coach searches for a head job and instead of giving it to him you give it to a secondary coach, who had only done so for I believe one season.

Jay Glazer from Fox said that Mike Holmgren won't get a contract extension from the Seahawks and expects him to retire. Myabe Baltimore should have waited for this news?

I thought he said that he expected him to retire on Monday.
Doesn't matter anyway because he was way wrong as the Seahawks offered him a job anyways.

A coach a year for Al Davis. He's gonna be the one to take a flyer on Vick when he's out of prison.
