I meant there is some rumors flying around of teams trading into the first round to get him and wasn't there a certain playoff that just had their QB retire? Oh yeah thats right, now I remember.

I guess I'll give you Green Bay, even though they're obviously invested in Aaron Rodgers and have quite a few holes they still have to fill... they're going with either a DB or O Lineman I'd expect. Maybe a tight end with Bubba Franks gone...

here's hoping, for the packers fans at least, there aren't. They will go in the tank if Rodgers starts this season although they prob wouldn't do any better with Flacco so I guess endure this season of shitiness and the draft a QB high next year is their best option.

What makes you think Rodgers is so terrible?

I know a Packers fan who is fairly confident in Aaron Rodgers. You can't expect him to be the next Favre and you can't expect the team to have the same type of season with him. However, there are a lot of young players around him to grow with. Given a few years, that team can be terribly good.
Also, the Eagles have supposedly submitted a new trade offer to Arizona for Larry Fitzgerald. The previous bid include Reggie Brown, Lito Sheppard, and a second or third round pick. I don't recall which round the pick was in. I really hope they can work out a deal for him. It is obvious McNabb will need help spreading the ball around outside of Westbrook. A guy like Larry Fitzgerald can really add to that.
I just want to say though I am happy to see the Eagles doing a lot to try and get the team better while other NFC East teams haven't done much. The competition was great in the division so it is nice to see the Eagles trying to get closer to that. Hopefully we can take back the division.

Yea, apparently the Giants plan on working on what they need to work on through the draft, which is cool because it worked out this year but we could've picked up a little more than Sammy Knight.

Rodgers will be fine. He just has a ridiculous standard to live up to.

Cardinals aren't interested in Lito or Reggie Brown apparently, which is a shame cause that deal would kick ass for Philly and still be fair for both sides.
We've hardly seen Aaron Rodgers play, the fact that you think he's a mutilated offspring of Bobby Hoying and Ryan Leaf is a joke. Is he going to struggle-- most definitely. He'll certainly be able to exceed your expectations...

what the fuck is ur probably dude? it's my opinion. I saw him play in college and at the combine/pro day and I wasn't impressed. There was a reason he dropped to 22. Look if the guy comes out and has a good season I'll be the first to admit I was wrong and that I underestimated him but from what I've seen the packers are in for a rough ride at QB and honestly I dont think Rodgers is the answer in any way, shape, or form.

They don't expect him to be the answer. They don't expect him win championships. They expect him to run the offense. I don't think anyone is saying Aaron Rogers is the best QB in the league, ever. He's not the worst player, though, and that's what you're making it seem like.

I'm not I'm just saying I feel like their headed for some serious issues if they think he is going to be able to be a semi-quality starter. If their expectations are that he is going to be the next rex grossman then whatever, but I wouldn't put too much faith in Rodgers if I were them. Personally I think they should at least consider a backup plan by getting someone like Flacco or Woodson or even a vet like chad pennington or trent green (not that there much better)
