I think both are gonna be good, but Mello has already showed he isn't too good of a leader. I think Mello could be better if he had a good role model to follow, but LeBron doesn't need that.

LeBron. I'm still amazed at how much maturity he's shown as an 18 year old. 'Melo has been great too, but he's showing that he's still a kid with some of his actions down the stretch before the playoffs.

That would be LeBron James. Easy as that.

My question is why has noone mentioned Dwyane Wade? hes a gerat rookie, and if not for the exceptional talents of Melo and Lebron Wade would be the rookie of the year. He is the only one of the three, that has a playoff spot clinched. Yes i agree Lebron and Melo are better, but Dwyane Wade is a great player.

Carmelo led his team to the playoffs, LeBron didn't. That being said, I'll take 'Bron 'Bron.

Melo since he went to college and won a NCAA Championship. He probably could've not even go to college like LeBron but he did, and I kind of respect him for that. Plus, I think he got frustrated that one time because all this pressure is being put on him to be as good as another guy who's younger than him. It's kind of like not wanting your varsity team to lose to your jv team in high school or something. Let's just say I feel for Melo. Oh yeah....and my name....

Dwyane Wade - better leader than those two. A better guy in my opinion, too...really didn't want to leave college early, but had to so he could support his wife and kid. I'd rather have a class act like that in my locker room than a guy who could pull off a 360 dunk or fire no look passes across the lane. In this case, it happens to be that Wade can be both a class act and do those kinds of things at the same time. It's too bad he didn't do too well in the Olympics, though.

It's too bad he didn't do too well in the Olympics, though. WHAT? !!!! I thought Wade had a excellent performance, especially for a rookie! I believe he led the Olympics in steals, from what I've read, so he did awesome, IMO!
