Saw it, and might I just say that I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with the ratings.
My man Sammy Dalembert is rated a 53 overall, with 34 in speed. Now, I KNOW he is a better runner than that...for God's sake, he used to be a soccer player!
Other than that, looks to be a solid game worth $40.

Chauncey, the FINALS MVP, 71? Real disappointing. It looks about the same as last year, when guys like Shaq and Kobe were rated in the 90s when guys like Peja Stojakovic were 73. It's sad that EA screws up the ratings that way. At least the faces look great. One of my biggest gripes over the past few years was that some guys (i.e. Allen Iverson) looked exactly like they did in real-life, while guys like Tayshaun Prince look like the programmers spent 5 minutes doing his face. I see by one of the screens that Prince looks just like real-life. Very pleased with faces.

I think ratings wise it seems pretty good. The best players are over 90 but atleast everyone and their mother isn't over 90 like it is in Madden and NCAA FB. The lower ratings, are a good thing, if you have ever played with re-rated Madden rosters, you'd understand where I'm coming from.

Well we can also edit the ratings that are off, so we can make things right and the slightly lower ratings will make this a great game.

It's a good thing. Rip Hamilton is a 73. Chauncey Billups is a 71. However, if you read down in the ratings thread, it says that they may just be beta ratings and could change. This is good news. We can only hope that some of those ratings can be upped. I just preordered and my EB Games says it will be in tomorrow after 8 PM. Can't wait. But I agree, many players seem underrated.

You can make everybody on your team in Madden a 90 or above if you just get average stats. It's crazy. As for Live, it looks good, and the EA deal Robino2001 mentioned was cool, but I'm looking at ESPN this year.
