While not anywhere close to end of my first season with the Hawks, I was think about what moves to make in the off season. The two positions that need major upgrading are PG and C. There are two good PGs in the top 10 of the draft (assuming I land there) but no true centers. Also, with the other teams re-signing all of their good players, the free agent market will be kind of dry.
And despite my lack of trading chips (Harrington, Smith, and Childress are off limits), I was looking for a solid young PG. I don't want to trade for D. Harris, S. Telfair, or S. Livingston b/c that's not too realistic. But I was think about L. Barbosa from the Suns. Any other suggestions? Or should I wait until the draft?

Getting Barbosa would be good, I always liked playing as him in games.

I was just messing around with my season, and I was trying to make deals just to see what I could do.
Barbosa is hard to acquire b/c he has a salary under $1 millions, yet a 57 rating (Phoenix is over the cap). They also don't have any other secondary players I really like. The only person I could get them to trade for was Boris Diaw straight up. Behind Harrington, J. Smith, and J. Childress, he is someone I would prefer to keep. Also, I would have no back up SG unless I signed a Lucious Harris or someone else. Any suggestions to help my problem?
