Well, as you may have noticed, I have not been updating my Atlanta Hawks dynasty recently. And the reason is, my PS2 died  . Anyways, at the moment, I do not have the funds to get a new one. I am sorry to all the readers, but I leave the NBA section in good hands. In the meantime, I think I will start an NFL dynasty (I have Madden 2005 for CPU for some reason). Not sure, but bear with me. Once again, sorry. |

Man, the NBA section in D.C. doesn't have any long lasting dynasties. Is it because of the 82 game season and playoffs?

Yeah, mine died a year or so ago, and I guess it my fault because, being as young and clueless as I was, didn't read the manual and therefore always shut the machine off using the power switch in the back. What sucks is that I got a new PS2 for Christmas, but didn't get another copy of Madden 2004 (the PS2 scratched it up so bad it couldn't be used anymore), and instead got the EyeToy. I don't even touch the EyeToy, mind you; My little cousins are the only ones that play it when they come over. |

MY friend turns off ps2's like that, I always tell him that I'll do it.

Maybe thats why my 2nd PS2 I have now sometimes doesnt even work. I never knew, glad I hate reading  Anyway, glad I saw that, I will start shutting it off the right way from now on. |

I never knew it really mattered if you just flipped the switch without making the reset button to the red light. I had my PS2 for like 10 months, and turned it off, by flipping the switch, never screwed up. And I don't take out and replace games like they say you should. I reset it, eject it, replace it, push in, and play the game.

I never do that sh!t either. For some reason it just doesn't make sense to me, becuase either way you're turning it off.
the only thing I do differnetly than anyone else is:
Summer I only play PS2 at night, and Winter I play all frickin' day. lol.
