No major thoughts, except for it doesn't make sense as why he would go back to the "uncoachable" Kobe Bryant.

Good God y'all are quick to the draw. Also, I'm gonna move this to the NBA section.

Wow, as a Lakers fan this disgusts me. Why did the big three break up in the first place to only have two of them end up right back together. Makes no sense at all.

They still won't make the playoffs. Not unless Kobe actually starts passing it to Caron Butler and Lamar Odom, and they sign a decent free agent PG or draft someone like Deron Williams.

Everyone makes so much of this, especially when he's got nobody to run the dreaded triangle with effectively.

Ok, I was thinking of this the other day. The Lakers should try and trade Lamar Odom and someone else up to try and get either Bogut or Warrick in the draft. I think that this would be great for Phil. He can now do another triangle with Kobe, Butler, and either Bogut or Warrick. Also I think that if Phil can get this team to the playoffs it will prove he is actually great. Look at it, everyone says he is such a good coach but look at some of the guys he has coached. MJ and Pippen. Shaq and Kobe. I know that it takes skill to get them there but honestly how hard can it be

Warrick should be available when the Lakers pick at 10.
Also, you guys need a point guard and a center more than anything else, so I'd focus on Deron Williams or Raymond Felton. Bogut has bust written all over him, as well.

Caron Butler isn't a point guard, and if he is, he isn't a natural one.
To use the triangle, you need a GOOD center, a GOOD point guard, and a GOOD shooting guard.

You don't run the triangle offense with a rookie PG. That's a big no-no. I'm assuming Los Angeles will look to grab Charlie Villanueva at #10, but other options include Fran Vasquez, Channing Frye, and Chris Taft.

Well thats where the trade for LO comes in handy....with LO u can grab either a good PG or a good C and try and pick good come draft day....I think these Lakers didn't dig themselves into too deep of a hole...They've got a pretty good shot if they trade Odom...
