Well it's confirmed that Quientin Richardson and a conditional first round pick are traded over to New York for Kurt Thomas.... Thoughts?
My idea::: Bad for both teams... Q-Rich started to pump it up from downtown wen with Phoenix....He's still got the youth...And he can be "the guy" down the stretch.....Now Phoenix gets a rusting Kurt Thomas, who yes, will provide depth inside, but Thomas cant run on the break. The Suns now dont have the great running style as last year. Q-Rich was there main guy from 3 as i said so, they'll have a lil touble on the break....AS FOR THE KNICKS....CAN THEY JUST STOP TRADING?!?!?!? The Knicks midway throgh the season had a great record. They led there [weak] divison. And then Isiah Thomas said that wasn't good enuff. He went on a rampage with trading and doesn't look to stop. They've lost all posiible chemistry and will have another poor season....(expect another trade for NY0

As it's been stated on ESPN for like the past day, the money Phoenix freed up by trading Q allows them to resign Joe Johnson. Anyone with a sane mind would take Joe Johnson over Q...both are streaky, but Joe's more reliable from beyond the arc.

I'm sure that the fact that Q basically disappeared against the Spurs had something to do with the decision. At least Joe showed up to play in the couple games he played in that series, while Q was scoring like 4 points a game.

I think it was a great trade. Now Shawn Marion will be a SF and Kurt Thomas will be the PF. Now Phoenix has size with Thomas and Stoudemire. Rebounding as well.
New York got a good deal cause now they can form a team around Marbury, Jamaal Crawford, and Q-Rich. They also have a high draft pick so put that person in their as well.

Until Phoenix deals Marion like their talking about.. Phoenix won't get rid of Marion now that Richardson has been ousted. They've gotten their big and freed up cap space, so there's no reason to do so.

I thought Q-Rich was the X Factor for them...we all knew Nash and Amare were big role players but Q-RIch always had some of the big buckets when they needed them
