Pistons - I give em a B+....they passed on Gilchrist in the 2nd round twice, which disappoints me, but Jason Maxiell is Mini-Ben.

Celtics: A-
Gerald Green and Ryan Gomes were each steals, going way later than projected, but Orien Greene is a questionable pick.

Definitely an overrate at B+ for the Raptors. Pure crud draft. I give them a C- at best.

Raptors D-
Toronto drafted completely out of context with Villanueva and had Gerald Green fall right into their laps. But what did Babcock do? He passed up on redemption from both the Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter trades by selected Joey Graham over the pool's #1 athlete. That's not to say Graham will be anything short of spectacular, but it's a matter of selling seats up north. Ukic at #41 saves the Raptors from a cold, hard F.

Sonics: B in talent, A+ in needs
The sonics got good players at the positions they need to fill. C and SG.

Blazers...B+ for once i think they did good. Webster is going to be good in a year or 2 and Jaret Jack will help also

Pacers: A
Granger was a steal to get so late and can contribute right away. Lorbek is questionable, but from what I've heard of him ("rookie of the year" type in Euroleague), could be a solid role-player after a few more years overseas.

Bocats: B-
anyone can get decent talent with two lottery picks, but they didnt fill any needs except selling tickets

Bucks: Ugh. I might be the only one, but I only see Bogut as being a guy who'll give you 10 points and 8 boards a night. Solid, yes, but the Bucks already have 2 guys like that in Dan Gadzuric and Joe Smith. Not #1 value, but much like the 49ers in the NFL Draft, they were unfortunate enough to have the #1 pick in a draft based on need. Their second round pick is some guy from Turkey who they're just keeping overseas for the next couple of years anyway, so for the time being it's a wasted pick.
I would've liked to see them pick of Travis Diener as a solid back up PG, but that would make too much sense. I mean, T.J. Ford has never had the starting PG spot all to himself in his career, so of course he'll do just great coming off a year of rehabbing from a broken freaking back! We don't even know how good he is when he's not splitting time with Damon Jones...come on Larry Harris, at least sign a quality back up in case this Ford thing bursts into flames. If we end up not needing the guy we sign, ship him off in a trade like you did with Mike James this past season.
And since I also tend to follow the T-Wolves, I like the pick of Rashad McCants, assuming he gets his head screwed on straight in Minnesota. The best thing I like about this pick is that it means Sprewell is gone...him and Cassell were their biggest problems last year. Hopefully the T-Wolves will be able to trade Cassell sometime in the next year and just start from scratch with KG, Wally, and McCants.
