well i was watching sc yesterday morning and they had voting of the most hated athelets in some sports then ron artest comes first that i understand b/c of the october fight then second is kobe dosent deserve 2nd but i kinda understand but some1 like kevin nash should be there hes dirty on the court or even reggie miller even though he just retired but he played real dirty then third on ther llist comes shaq what kind of a list is this the most pop playa in the nba sum1 explain

I'm not fond of Kobe. But I respect him. Although he throws away his teammates, he somehow makes it work and get some wins. And yeah, Reggie Miller would be on my list. Very dir-tay player

Ok, last season I can see why people can be mad at Kobe. He tried to much and did not trust his teammates. But before that Phil Jackson always put Kobe out. If the team won, it was the team. If the team lost, it was Kobe.

if the team won* in an important game it was Kobe. In important games he'd always do things by himslef. Which is why he doesnt have a fourth ring on his finger (i.e. Detroit) Kobe always took the important shot, and when he made it people go crazy. But when he misses, people seem to forget about that. (i.e 2001 western Conference finals. Sacramento vs. LA Lakers, game four. Down by 2, with like 12 sec left. Pass to Kobe, isolation, Kobe drives. Kobe throws up some crappy shot. Instead of grabbing the rebound Vlade Divac decides to bat the ball out to the permeter. Right to big shot bob. Need I say more? Well nobody blames him for that cuz of the Horry bail. But what if that ball wasn't batted out?

When Phil Jackson was around he blamed everything wrong on Kobe and every win and such on the team.
