I dont like the trade for LAL, seeing as how Kwame is a bust but they gave up Butler who was fantastic at the ending of teh season.

They have been looking to get rid of Butler for a long time. Besides if Phil wants him gone, he is gone.

Sad but true. You have to look at it though, Phil is a very good coach. He knows what will work good in his system. Maybe Caron just doesn't fit. I also think that if Kwame Brown has a change of scenery he will be okay.

the deal is officially done now. WOOHOOO Ever heard of the July Moratorium? It's an NBA deliberation period which restricts roster movements up until July 22nd, so the deal isn't officially done.  However, David Aldridge's column in the Philadelphia Inquirer (among other sources) confirmed it will be Atkins going to DC - not George. The Lakers are reportedly making room for Antonio Daniels. |

Why the heck wouldn't we, the Wiz, George instead of Atkins. We got Arenas, we got Blake. We're set. Those guys can make it happen. And Arenas can play 40 mpg. WAS shouldve got George.
