OK, so I've had my sights on Jonathan Bender for a while. However, I planned on trading Magloire for a young SF. Well, I absolutely love Danny Granger, but I'm concerned with the realism involved in the trade. Here's how it'd go down:
IND receives: PF David West, PF P.J. Brown, C Jamaal Magloire NO receives: SF Austin Croshere, SF Danny Granger, PF Jonathan Bender, C David Harrison
Why it's good for IND: They get the center they desperately need and add depth to their frontcourt. Plus, they still have Fred Jones and Stephen Jackson interchangeable at SG and SF. They also get rid of Austin Croshere and his gargantuan salary.
Why it's good for NO: They get the youngsters they want and can try to develop them into stars.
Please vote. I'll take the results under advisement.

Since nobody seems to have any major objections, I'm making the trade. Thanks to everyone who offered their input.

If anyone still has any gripes about the deal, you can still voice your concerns...my dynasty isn't starting for a while..

WEll you basiclly demanded me to, so here goes.
The deal is a rip off plain and simple.
The Pacers are a 60+ win team when they have their squad so number 1, why would they need to make big trades where they lose all their youth for a bunch of one more year guys?
I'll start with Granger, who is meant to be their future and will be the definition of the team soon. No way would Indiana trade him.
Bender... Although this guy has experienced injuries the Pacers are still looking to develop him and by no means wanna trade a guy whose got potential like he has.
Croshere... Believe it or not, Indiana likes this feller. He was a perfect player coming off the bench when Bender was injuried an averaged 8-9 points last season. Although he's 30 he can still get it done. Indiana also enjoys his ability to spread the oppenonts defense.
Harrison could be trade bait right now. But he's real young and could be ahead for a big future. So you're swiiping one more potential young'in from us.
Magloire.... Must I go into how this guy is incapable to play basketball anymore?
P.J. Brown... Years are long gone.
David West.... Only good shade in the deal. So the deal is really all about trading all our potential for a young power forward which we dont need now.
Bad deal.

Bibby and I have agreed on a new trade that we both feel is fair.
NO receives: PG Anthony Johnson, SF Danny Granger, PF Jonathan Bender, C David Harrison IND receives: SG Arvydas Macijauskas, PF David West, C Jamaal Magloire
NO in turn releases Johnson, who is resigned by the Pacers. Kapesh?

Sounds good, but how will you get the Pacers to resign Johnson?

The Pacers love Johnson so it'd be realistic... But I think DB will do this before he enters the franchise mode so it is definate.

you are giving to much...Magloire and David West is even to much to give IMO, and Bender is a young player who may have a future, and Granger is the guy out of New Mexico or some smaller college...

So basically you know nothing about Granger, and Magloire is one of the most overrated players playing.

in video games it doesnt matter...talent is talent...and yes i saw Granger play a few games, but he hasn't even played a game in the NBA so no one knows how good he will be

ASM are you still the same guy that said Magloire sux in the DCBA? Cause honestly he is running out of years. Granger is plain awesome. And Bender can be developed and is perfect for the Hornets.
The Pacers get the Majicukaus and Jasikivicius combo which should turn out exciting. David West has a chance to develop on a championship squad. And Magloire is a guy who'll start this year and is just a time staller till they find some good youth at the Center. Look here for pacers and Hornets Depth Chart
Hornets
1. Paul- Claxton 2. Smith - Nachbar 3. Granger - Nachbar 4. Bender - Harrison 5. Wright - Harrison
Pacers
1. Tin-Head - Johnson 2. Jackson - Jasikevicius / Jones 3. Artest - Jones/ Jackson 4. J.O - West 5. Magloire - Foster
Both sides come out sahweet. NEw Orleans would best be suited in an 8 man rotation.
