He's starting 6-10 Lamar Odom at POINT GUARD tonight versus the Denver Nuggets!

I think he's trying to neutralize Boykins and Watson

I think Odom can do it... And it's the reason why Phil didn't give an exact reason why he didnt want LO traded. We'll see if it works out. I think this is pretty interesting.

I guess you could sya it worked because they did win, but he played pretty bad. 2/13 shooting. He had 9 assists, but that was with the extra 5 minutes in OT, and had 4 TOs... I don't think it was really as good as Phil would have liked. World to Lakers: Get a true PG

Well if they can keep winning with him in there then there is no need for a change. That's if they choose to keep him in there.

But Denver is no San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston... when they beat a team that is a legit contender, and not an over-hyped team, that's when we'll know... and according to the Lakers page, he played F, but I didn't watch any highlights of the game, so I'm unsure of if he really did or not, but judging by his assists totals, he did.

But Denver is def. a good team this season. (But with the loss of Nene this year, it'll be tough) I think if they play their cards right they could have the 5th spot in the West.

Overrated. 6-8 is more realistic... everyone is calling Melo God all the sudden... they'll be 6-8 seed eaisly and now better

From what little of what I watched from that game (Lakers games bore the crap out of me), I saw Odom posting up. Most likely he just brought the ball up court and then passed off to someone to start a play most of the time.

^Exact same thing I saw. They didn't seem to be running with a true point guard, he just was kind of the guy who drew the short straw and they made him bring the ball up.

But I think it's the team chemistry and evolution of their young players that could earn them a 5th spot. But the loss of Nene really pulls em down.

Nene going down killed us, but we've always been hit by injuries.
Edwardo =/= Nene. It's that simple. And Camby will miss games this year, no doubt, which will leave us struggling up front.

Anyone on the Nuggets roster not named Linas Kleiza or Julius Hodge has at least two years of NBA experience under their belt. Denver is hardly a young team.

Exactly. And poor Denver. Last year it was Voshon Lenard, this year Nene. I say Denver takes opening day off next year just so they don't get anyone injured. It's worth the one loss...
