Amazing game last night. Mark Blount put the Celtics ahead with 0.8 seconds remaining, 81-80. Rip Hamilton then hit a buzzer-beating fadeaway to give the Pistons an amazing win. Funny thing is, Fox Sports Detroit quickly flahsed a graphic with Boston 81, Detroit 80 - Final on it, so they jinxed the Celtics.
My reasoning? Mark Blount is never the hero. If Blount hits a shot that is seemingly heroic, something will happen to cancel it out.

But how bout Blount though. I thought he sucked, and he's been playing great so far... but amazing game all the same.

He sucked last year. But he is actually trying this year. Pierce seems rejuvenated.
And I hate Doc Rivers. Cover the ********* inbounder.

I can only say I'm proud of my Detroit Pistons (as you also probably think as well detroitbasketball). It was a hard faught game but Detroits shows why they are still a threat to make the finals once again.

You can't really say they are a threat to make the finals agian because they are only what? 3 games into the season?

Gah. The C's could easily be 3-0 right now. They are already breaking my heart as my blood pressure rises. They threw away a game last night against the Bobcats, yes, Charlotte.
On a good note for us, Paul Pierce looks so rejuvenated so far. He actually looks like he's enjoying playing the game. He's smiling. The "Shoot me now" look has disappeared from his face.
I know it is only 3 games in, but 30/8/3 is looking pretty nice.

You can't really say they are a threat to make the finals agian because they are only what? 3 games into the season? Hardly. We all know about the teams that we know have the skill to make the Finals - Pistons, Spurs, maybe the Heat. I don't think the # of games in makes a difference if you actually watch the games and follow the NBA over a long period of time. I don't think anyone's calling the 3-0 Clippers to make a run at the Finals.

I have watched my Magic WIN all there games! NOT. But does anyone remeber when the Magic started off good last year and everyone was saying a poss. playoff spot? Well look what happend...No playoffs. We all know that the Pistons had a good chance of making it there but all I am trying to say is that is it early and anything can happen.

We've returned all 5 of our starters (every one of which has a championship ring...as a starter), all of our important backups from a team that won the East, added the amazing Maurice Evans and Dale Davis, and brought in a new and better coach.
Nah, we won't do anything this year.

Don't forget Darko and Carlos Delfino, who is one of the ugliest dudes I've seen in a while.

Nah, we won't do anything this year. So have the Spurs. And the Spurs upgraded their bench. Every team makes moves in the offseason or doesnt and it doesnt mean anything will remain the same. Look at the Lakers when they added Malone and Payton. They added great players. But it doesnt always mean that you'll do good.

The Lakers added egomaniacs, there's a difference.
And did I ever distinctly say the Pistons would win the 2006 NBA Title? No.

Larry = 0-2 with the Knicks. Flip = 3-0 with the Pistons.
Yeah, I know, the Knicks suck, but it just proves that Brown doesn't have the magic healing touch everyone thinks he does. The Knicks are WORSE off this year.

Maybe I'm still a tad bitter about LB leaving us, but I think the prime of his coaching career has come and gone.
Flip right now is the better coach.

Larry's gotta heal all the chemistry problems on the team, and I bet he will... Just a question of when.
I mean, Jerome Williams and NAte Robinson were in a fight todday for god sake.
But Isiah has really screwed this team chemistry wise.

Jerome Williams was an amnesty victim and then retired.
I do believe you mean Jerome James, sir.
