Well, Philadelphia has a new fan favorite, and no longer is it Kyle Korver. The man I'm talking about is Shavlik Randolph, who the Sixers signed as an undrafted free agent in July.
When I say he's the Sixers' best center, I mean it. Qualifications aside, Shav leads the league in rebounds per 48 minutes (21.3) as a rookie. But what I like most about him is the fact that he makes barely any stupid mistakes in comparison to Dalembert, Hunter. His offensive rebounding numbers are insane and he's proven to be reliable offensively.
Give him a few years, and I guarantee Shavlik Randolph will be starting for an NBA team.

Yeah, uh, one-hit wonder. He wasn't amazing at Duke, and he might be the servicable center type that comes in for some boards, but nothing special.

It was a compound fracture and a pretty serious one at that. I'd say he's done for the season and possibly even a calendar year, but I wouldn't say it's a career-ending injury. He was never a player that relied on athleticism in the first place, so who knows...

If i know my fractures, which I don't, a compound is a fracture that the bone breaks the skin. However I don't think Protho's broke the skin, i may be wrong though

It was a compound fracture, which is when the bone breaks the skin. If I recall, I think his bone scrapped the ground. I really never want to see that again though so I will not look.

Falcons, you're not allowed to talk any more. For one thing, he has a freakin injury that's taking him out at least a year. I can understand if you were answering to this maybe a year ago when the thread started, but answering it now...
And so if the Cavaliers got a player who could average 20/10 from Duke, you'd hate him too? Well I guess then you'd just find a new bandwagon to hop on, so it doesn't matter much...

AHAHAHAHA so true, so true. But we did have an ex-Duke player at one time I believe....Does C-Booze ring a bell? He might not have averaged 20/10, but hey, if that kid wants to hate on results, let him. He's probably going to go to liking the Charlotte Bobcats because they have 2 players from NC's National Championship team.
