Clips have already said a Maggette-for-Artest swap is absolutely out of the question.

I know that CNN confirmed this (assuming you're not pulling it out of your ass), but the article I read was by that Amico guy on probasketballnews.com and a lot of the trade stuff he brings up is crap...
Also, with all the confusion on who the players are on the trade (I saw a George for Artest straight up as the most outlandish so far) this can't be complete yet...

The only trade I could see Denver doing to get Artest is Boykins, Najera, and a pick for Artest. It's the only smart trade Indy could go. Considering how highly Denver fans value the lil man, Artest to Denver seems unlikely now.

I think he should go to Denver. It doesn't give them that shooter that they need, but he'll help them get over the hump and play better D especially since Camby looks like he'll be out 4 a while, and Earl Watson & Lenard are pretty expendable to them

The Nuggets are in no posistion to give up Lenard. He's their only true shooting guard. Sure it may be a good trade in terms of talent, Lenard and Watson for Artest. But it would really put a gash in the guard spots.

You really don't have to worry since Denver hasn't appeared to really show interest. There's a little buzz, but it seems more like an outside chance than a real possibility

It would be interesting to see Artest go to Denver or even the Clips like the rumors say. Artest would play the 2 in Denver and Maggette would probably be out if Ron goes to the Clips. na, they wouldnt get rid of Maggette, he is their future, they wouldnt trade him unless it for like KOBE

Theres been a lot of buzz about Nene being thrown in with Lenard, it would make sense because the Pacers are looking to free up cap space with Nene's contract expiring next summer

Pssh, Maggette won't go... if the Clips make a deal, it will be for a young guy and some draft picks most likely... everyone seems to think Maggette is going to leave since he's been hurt a bit and hasn't done so hot all the time like he did last year...
And nosaints is right, if Denver does make a deal, Nene will more than likely be there...

Well, I don't know how true this can be. I wouldn't be getting hyped up on this rumor. I remember last year hearing that Carlos Boozer was on his way to the Lakers. I was telling everyone about it. Only to look like an *** a few days later when Boozer stayed put in Utah.

Heh, according to RealGMs trade checker, that deal wouldn't even match salary wise... Medvedenko and/or Odom must be involved in order for it to work, because Jalen Rose's salary alone is twice what the Lakers are giving up...

They're 3 games out of 1st place, and you rgiht them off already? If Artest keeps his head on and plays as well as he has in the past and Kobe becomes a team player (unlikely, but still) even if they don't win the divison, they can get into the playoffs. Right now they'd be the 9 seed, so getting Artest could make the difference...

They will make the playoffs, but just wont go far to me Can't and won't happen because of what I just said of Voshon Lenard. And Nene is hurt so there's no deal there. It doesnt matter if Nene is hurt because what the Pacers want is a player who's contract expires after this year. They're not interested in his talent or anything

Why would they want to trade for a player who's hurt? I think they'd rather trade for a guy with an expiring contract who can actually contribute in his final contract year.

The fact that they make the playoffs is far enough, isn't it? I mean, seeing how they didn't make it last year and all, you can't possibly have expectations for them to get to the WCF, but they certainly have a bit of a chance to make it into the 2nd round, which would be farther than most people think...
