You can't just elbow someone in the face whie they're driving. Did you see it? It was like Miller ran into a pole.

So Kobe shouldn't get a suspension for retaliation? That's like saying Artest shouldn't have been suspended for the basketbrawl.

Only thing I found deserving of this was the suspension. Kobe's explanation for it was unintentional comedy. "People come here and think they're going to be pretty, cuz they're in Hollywood. We gotta stop that."

Was he suppose to just take that crap... NO, but he shouldn't have jumped up and started attacking the guy! You should be a freaking players rep. Sometimes you disgust me with your favoritism toward the players.

Why wasn't Mike Miller suspended? He slashed Kobe's face up that's why Kobe responded with that SICK elbow to the throat.

Well it's pretty funny when you think about it. Kobe was assessed a flagrant foul II, so he automatically had to be suspended for it. And in the post game interview, all he did was sound like a friggen man possessed. Listen to this: “Somebody comes down the lane, you've got to hit him.” Then there's the whole "people should get hit when they walk in 'my' lane" crap.
Oh and for the record, Mike Miller in no way should have been suspended. Did you even look at the replay. Kobe's face doesn't even look that close to Miller's arm. Even Kobe admitted to that...

Well I think Kobe got screwed cause ESPN stated a good point. Kobe got flagrant fouled by Dwayne Wade and Josh Howard(when he dropped 62 points) but neither of them got anything. The Mavs tried to jack kobe up in that game too. I think everyone is different towards Kobe.

No that's definitely not it at all. Josh Howard and Dwyane Wade did commit flagrant fouls, but neither of them were out of retaliation my an accident, and none of them went into a post game interview and basically said that they did exactly the right thing by it... and they weren't even as bad as Kobe's anyways, although the Howard one was pretty dirty
The league can't be different to Kobe anyways. Kobe is one of the elite faces of the NBA. It's not like how they picked on Ron Artest for requesting a trade, this is one of the Top 3 popular players in the league, and the NBA knows they're going to get bad publicity if they start picking on him more...

the Miller elbow didn't look COMPLETLY unintentional, his right arm kind of flew loose and nailed him good. I still think Kobe deserves a suspension, but I probably would of done the same thing had it happened to me, if not I would think you were a softie and people can push you around

The way to retaliate isn't to knock the hell out of him when he's just WALKING in the lane. You can play a little more physical, that's alright with me, as long as it's clean. The right thing to do is beat him with skill. Just snatch the ball when he's walking the floor with it and drop 50 on them. Not act like a dumbass and get yourself kicked out of the game and jeopardize your team's chances of winning the game...

I'm honestly surprised anyone's arguing for Kobe. Watch the play again and then listen to what Kobe had to say. You guys are complete idiots...

I know how hard it is after someone does something like that to not retaliate. So what he did is wrong, but i understand where he is coming from, but he does deserve a suspension
